Tried this spot for the first time and sad to find out they're closing down on November 30, 2023. Loved how quick and convenient it was to grab food. Small spot with 3-4 tables only. Food was decent for a last minute dinner.

I dunno what's happening lately but they're removing classic mainstay items off their menu. Kimbap? All gone, you can't order it anymore off of the DoorDash menu or any other delivery service that I've tried. Their tteokbokki has gotten watery and not nearly as spicy as it used to be. Their black bean noodle, while not bad, is a bit bland. I thought things were looking up with new items being added, like the fried seaweed rolls (a common Korean side item added in meals) but they too are gone or are not consistently available. I'll still be going here but man, hope this isn't a trend!

This place is going downhill from where it was before. Pretty clear there's been some sort of change in management and cooking. Not only are the ingredients different (probably cheaper) but the taste is no longer up to par. Wish Gangnam Ave 2go return back to how they were just few months ago.

I wanted kimbap and this was the closest place that had it but when I arrived it wasn't available. It was a very disappointing trip. I got their chicken and beef bulgogi box and ham/cheese corn dog. There wasn't any ham on the corn dog. If I had known there would be a drizzle of sauce on top, I would have opted out of it. I gave one to my toddler niece and she requested to remove the sauce. I had to scrape the sauce off. The corn dog also had a fried fish smell to it. The odor seeped into the breading. The chicken and beef bulgogi provided were a good portion. The side dishes were kimchi, broccoli, japchae, bean sprouts, fish cake and mandu. I didn't have to wait long for my order and the cashier was friendly. Their corn dog needs to have ham and be fried away from fishes. The restaurant has a few tables, unsure if dine in is an option. I mostly saw to-go orders.

I got the Spicy pork rice bowl and this dish was so yummmy, they also added the side dishes (broccoli, bean sprout, and japchae) in it underneath the pile of delicious pork!!! I also got the Korean cheese corn dog, the batter was so fluffy and crispy and the sauce was soooo goood!!! I originally came for the Kimbap but they had a sign on it saying it wasn't available. Please keep it on the menu!!!

I thought the food was really good! I got gimmari, jajangmyeon and their kimchi. Wish I got a second order of the gimmari, it was the perfect afternoon pick me up. Very hearty portion of black bean sauce with the jajangmyeon - it was very tasty! Kimchi was perfect. Staff seems very nice. Completely out of kimbap when I was there - hope to try that at a later date

Grand opening. Close to the 99 in Elk Grove. Plenty of parking. Not tons of seating. Food came out nice and hot. I loved their seafood tofu soup. They were very generous with the clams and seafood inside which I was pleased about. Little pricey. Maybe $15-20 per person. But it's a good spot. So happy for Korean food in Elk Grove that isn't just Oz

Food was good and I thought the price was fair as well.

This hit the spot for me. I was worn out from moving the deck chairs around the Titanic and didn't have the energy to make dinner. Takeout, at a place that basically just does takeout. Ready in 15 minutes, on the table 5 minutes later. Tasty bites and good variety in a single order. Made my day. That said, the food quality was just a notch above grocery store steam tables, meeting me half way at the taste and convenience border. I tried the spicy pork bulgogi platter. The spiciness might shock a Canadian, but it barely registered for me. I paid a buck more for black rice and was rewarded with a textural treat. Truth is, the whole meal was a satisfying mix of textures. though the pork stood out in taste.I ordered an extra Ban Chan, not seeing any description of the platter with a similar portion of Ban Chan. I could have had something else; the Ban Chan was a little sad and surprisingly tasteless. Some par-cooked broccoli, sprouts and julienne carrots with a mild and sweet sesame oil coating, some tasty thick noodles that must have been bean curd, and a passable kimchi. Restaurant folks have to make a living. But, for all the complaints I see on Yelp about "expensive LA-like prices", the truth is that I could spend a third less on LA street food in Koreatown and get a fresher, warmer and tastier platter. The Value/Price ratio doesn't quite work for me at Gangnam.

I'm happy this restaurant exists as sometimes I really don't want to sit down and eat Korean food. I just want a relaxing night at home, and the take out boxes are convenient. The quality and portion of food is great for the price.I had the spicy bulgogi beef dinner box and felt the meat was great. Lots of high quality cuts and not too much fat. Food was spicy but it wasn't overbearing as you can taste the other flavors. However, I give this 4/5 as I feel the amount of japchae and white rice could be better balanced. It's a lot of carbohydrates in the plate. I feel it'll be better if they give you half the rice and japchae with additional side dishes. The kimchi can also be soaked longer to give it more flavor.

I'm 100% Korean, I lived in South Korea for a few years and visit often because I have a big family. I also know how to cook Korean dishes and cuisine, nothing I ordered tasted good from this so called restaurant. I should have read the reviews before I spent over $100 on my Grubhub order. This place is a disgrace to all Korean restaurants, I tried calling to see if I can talk to somebody over at the restaurant to ask for the owners contact information and the phone just keeps ringing. The soondubu jige was bland and had absolutely zero veggies which is weird plus the chicken bulgogi might as well be retitled as teriyucki chicken. All the authentic Korean restaurants are off of Bradshaw and Folsom and Watt Ave. Pine Tree House, Sa Rang Bang, Blue House, OZ BBQ, YD Tofu House and Jiu Jiu Korean BBQ (formerly known as Korea House).

Their kimbap is amazing, I suggest getting one!Their bowls are good and good price; the bulgogi was good.Just tried their spicy pork it's ok.Their bulgogi tofu soup is good, quite a bummer they don't offer kimchi in it. They said they are working on the perfection of it, but really if you just get a side order of kimchi, fry the kimchi for a few min then place with the bulgogi tofu soup, you can make it yourself and taste really good.Their bimbimbap is good as well along with japgae. This is the first time I didn't get banchan, I think i got it via doordash site. However I do find if you order through yelp it's 10 dollars cheaper as there's no service fee charge and the delivery charge fee isn't as high.

I was pleasantly surprised to know that Korean "fast food" existed. I think this is a wonderful business concept. I absolutely enjoyed my spicy pork bowl with came with rice, a spoon full of flavorful japchae, and fried mung beans. I also got a bulgulgi roll. It tasted like Korean street food, and I enjoyed it. I would, definitely, come back again to try their other dishes.

Portions were perfect + the gimbap was so GOOD. Definitely a good spot to grab and go for a quick kfood fix. Side dishes were on point, besides the kimchi--was on the salty side... but still finished it ;) LOVE KIMCHI. We ordered the Beef Bulgogi Lunchbox and the Spicy Chicken Lunchbox with a side order of the Beef gimbap. Both lunch boxes were good overall--however, kind of wished the Spicy Chicken was tossed in the spicy sauce versus drizzled over it. I was expecting the chicken to be fully coated with the gochujang sauce and then some. Would definitely come back to try other menu items.

Gangnam ave now has a smaller restaurant that specializes in Korean foods to go ! I love all that both of the restaurants have to offer, however this one in particular has issues with consistency . So far, I've had their Mandu, japchae, kimchi fried rice , kimbop, and chicken wings . Their mandu has a strong pork taste , some days the kimbop will have that charred taste and some days it won't , some days the japchae will taste sweet and some days it'll taste salty. Overall, I really enjoy this place , I just think they need to work on more consistency with the taste of some their dishes .
