Quickly dropped in for some filipino treats after a Target run. Left with spanish rolls, corned beef hash roll and pork adobo roll. The spanish rolls are SO buttery and have that perfect fresh baked gooey goodness. It's not too sweet so it's perfect.

Bao was good, but bait and switch on price. Their website said $6.50 per box but I was charged $10. 54% up charge? Come on. Pricing transparency please.

This is a small Filipino Bakery and other small grocery goods. They have food ready to eat like most bakery. They have sweet rolls like Seniorita bread! They also carry the spicy banana ketchup I like, "UFC banana ketchup!" Service is amazing, quick, and friendly. Definitely will be coming back to this small bakery gem!

The Siopao Asado Pork is very good and the next best thing to my Nay's. I also love the Leche Flan, Ube Ensaymadas, Ube and Cream Cheese Loaf, and Spanish Rolls.

I really wish they display prices. Didn't know how much item costs until after paying. A bit pricey compared to Sacramento bakeries but maybe ok if you don't want to travel. Pastries are good/decent.

Delicious buttery bread rolls. No halohalo but the baked goods were yummy. Small but they had a nice variety and friendly service.

They keep their meat stored at room temperature, it is not kept heated or refrigerated. I thought it would still be safe to try a pork bun since it was early in the morning and hadn't had too much time to sit out. I was wrong. Me and my partner who also had a meat item got sick. It tasted good, but it wasn't worth the stomach pain and other gross side effects the next day.

The Spanish rolls were excellent! I was around the area and wanted to see if there was an authentic Filipino bakery. Ginelle's Bakery had the best, warm and fluffy Spanish rolls.

Rude service and unprepared. Owner over assumes and lacks professionalism. Sad coming from a long time customer.

I recently moved to this neighbourhood and tried the Spanish bread. Very delicious I must say.

Great food and nice dude that runs the place.

Their chicken empanadas are scrumptious. There's more chicken filling and the dough is flavorful.

We came here specifically for the halo halo and it did not disappoint. We were so excited to try it we forgot to take a picture. Honestly worth the wait bc it was legit. It had all the fixings I remember such as the pinipig, caramelized banana and the ratios of the fixings was just the right amount. It's a definite must try

I really wanted to like this place for their Spanish rolls bc I read all the reviews and people rave about it. Starbread bakery is definitely further (south sac) so why not come here and try it out! The first time I came, it was about 3pm on a Wednesday and the Spanish rolls were all sold out. No prob, I understand fresh baked items will do that. Came back a few days later and around 1pm and was able to buy 2 dozen. I don't know what I was expecting but it was nothing out of the ordinary. I do agree with others that these Spanish rolls were much larger and more consistent but they were super greasy and tasted greasy as well. Not impressed. The guy (I'm assuming the owner) was the only one there running the register and the kitchen wasn't very nice. And it almost seemed as if I was a burden to be there ordering baked goods. The shop is fairly small and cluttered. Did not feel dirty but it didn't feel clean either. And LOTS of signs all over the place. I'm going to pass on this place. I'm sorry that I may be the odd (woman) out on this place.
