This is my to go spot when I hit sac. I love eating out here with my family. The food are wonderful and it’s full of variety from different sauces and a little fruit salad area. My favorite are the longans that are served over at the sauce bar. Customer service is quick and professional!!!
BUT…………one of the female server had come to change our grill and she leaned over & her hair almost touch my food because it wasn’t tied back. Her shirt touched my salad because she was reaching over kind of low…smh. That was the only problems. I believe working in a place that deals with food, everyone with long hair or medium length should really tie their hair back. That was my only problem that I encountered.

First time at a KBBQ and it was amazing! The food was fresh and delicious and loved the idea of having the grill at your table and controlling the cooking! As a first timer, I was a bit confused about how to order and think that the staff could have explained it better but otherwise, I loved it!

Way overpriced and the bathroom was filthy and stunk I didn't want to to touch anything. Music too loud. Won't go back.
Beware of prices being higher than usual. Also have an automatic tip included and don’t tell you, we almost tipped twice, but I noticed a small sign at the front that said tip included for dine in. We had only two people and had no control over how much they tipped themselves. The bill was $137 for two people with tea, appetizers and two lunches. It says lunch special, but they said we couldn’t get that price, there were no details. I would have rather went to a fancy restaurant for that price.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Gogi experience. The wait staff was friendly and inviting always willing to offer a smile. The food was amazing and bursting with flavor. The music in the background was fun and a great variety. Overall this was a true win!

If this is your first ever Korean bbq or hot pot experience , go somewhere else. Our waiter asked if it was our first time and we said yes. Then he didn’t even explain a single thing. All the meat stuck to the grill , the hot pot burner would not stay on. Wouldn’t recommend

We, a party of 3 went to GoGi Korean BBQ & Hot pot in Elk Grove around 1 pm on a week day. We requested a table that can seat 6 and the hostess, Samantha accomodated our request and we got seated right away. We ordered AYCE BBQ and Hot Pot dinner as we wanted to try everything. The BBQ and hot pot menus are separate so we essentially doubled our selection for $5 more. We started with hot pot and ordered 8 to 10 items including dinner items Australian Wagyu beef, kobe beef and oysters. The server, Thomas accomodated our request of double portion of the wagyu and kobe beef. Also we got individual hot pot and there are around 7 to 8 flavors to choose from. There is also a sauces and condiments bar where you can customize your favorite sauces for the cooked food. The wagyu and kobe beef and oysters are heavenly. We ordered 3 rounds of the beef dishes. Next we tried the Korean BBQ menu and ordered 4 to 5 items including short ribs and bulgogi. Johnthan, I believe is the manager, showed us how to use the butter from the condiments bar to grease the BBQ pan. Johnathan also showed us new items that are not on the paper menu. Again the foods are delicious. There is a 2 hours limit but that is plenty of time to try out the different varieties of delicious Korean BBQ and hot pot menu items.
So in summary, 5 stars for food, service and atmosphere.
Bring your appetite.

Spent my daughter' s 23rd birthday here and it was delicious. BBQ and hot pot for about $45 per person. Let me preface by saying I've had several great meals here. This time the food was fantastic but after beginning to cook, noticed that the entire bench that my wife and I sat , were sugary sticky. Had not been properly wiped down. Had a table full of food to cook and they were packed and couldn't change tables, so I dealt with it because I do like this place so much. Upon leaving I noticed they helped themselves to an 18% gratuity , on top on the cash tip we left. Synopsis: Food is fantastic, booths can be sticky and they will tip themselves so factor this into decisions to patronize this establishment

I love that you have your own hot pot to eat what you love instead of sharing the broth pot. Especially I have foods allergies. You can have a choice of hot pot or Korean BBQ. Different choice of alcohol. Best place to have a group or birthday party for a very very reasonable price.
Love the friendly customer service.

The atmosphere is good and the food is very fresh, but I think it is already very offensive that they charge you for tips (not optional) and that they still charge you an extra tips, for suggested tips, moreover, that is wrong, it is part of their job and part of the charge serving or being a waiter, extra charge for tips suggested after they charge you is wrong.
