This is absolutely the best Chinese food place in EG. The crab rangoons are top notch. The fried rice is genuinely so flavorful that I can't believe I've settled at other restaurants for so long.

The restaurant has gone through several face lifts since covid and really isn't the same place. It's still a nice place to eat authentic Chinese food.
The dining decor changed, the menu changed, and the staff changed. The decor looks cleaner, the menu: prices went up a little, combos changed a little, portion sizes changed a little. Staff used to be all family members, but they hired new workers.
I still like Golden Dragon, but because of some of the changes, I don't visit it as frequently as I did before covid.

This is some really good Chinese food. We love the fried rice, chow mein, and salt/pepper fish. I would give 5 stars but unfortunately during our last visit, while visiting from another state, and eager to get back on the road for our journey, the person who took our phone order told us that it would take 15 minutes. When we arrived about 20 minutes later our order was not ready. They waited for us to arrive before cooking our food which would be fine if they told us that on the phone.
If you like Panda Express food, this would be the place. It is not authentic Chinese food. The place was very slow for a Sunday evening. They only have two tables and We waited for at least 20 minutes before the food arrived. Not my cup of tea

If I could I would leave NO stars ! Terrible service called to pre order food. They said it would be ready in 20 min when we got there we still waited another 20min just to leave almost half way home they call that we are missing a plate. I return for my plate when I get home I realized that all my food was wrong. I called to speak to see what we could do about it and they argued with me about my order I also asked for the managers name they refused to give me his/her name. They said that she would call me NEVER got a call our order was 100$ plus and we tipped 30$ and they did not care about us. NEVER going back I was a very frequent customer.

Food tasted great, fresh and quality ingredients, good portions, everything had its own distinct flavor, not oily. The hostess and server were polite, professional, and timely during the small dinner rush. The establishment was very clean and played a good mix of modern music. Will definitely go back! We ordered: crab cream cheese wontons, Cajun fries, Singapore noodles, house chow mein, sweet and sour shrimp, string beans with broccoli, and broccoli and beef.
