Happy Garden Elk Grove

I ordered 3 things and didn't realize that they didn't give me the correct order until I got home. I live 25 minutes away in the pocket area. When I called to tell them I received the wrong order. They insisted that I did order what they gave me. There were 2 things correct in the order only one of them was edible. The order was obviously packaged incorrectly. There was a super hot oily substance all over everything in the bag. Not a good first experience. I won't be back.

The food use to be good. Last few times it was terrible. Chicken was like rubber, green beans hard as a rock. Taste and flavor not good like it use to be.

I come to Happy Garden often and have noticed that the customer service is not good. The 3 waitress that are working on a regular basis never greet us kindly because I am of a colored ethnicity. I have noticed on every occasion I have come to this restaurant that if you are Caucasian they will be friendly, otherwise not. I have called many times to notify the manager/owner who continues to say that they are older and set in their ways, but that is completely not the case. If they can be nice to certain ethnicities, they are choosing to greet customers as they see fit. The customer service is horrible. Food is ok, but most definitely they need to work on their customer service skills with all customers. We are all paying guests.

Sorry folks but this one is not worth the price.
They did not give us the appetizers that come with the family meal ... I was charged for those individually......

Ripped off is how I feel, and for mediocre food....

Horrible experience. Orange chicken was nasty and drowned in sauce. The rice was dry and bland. The service was poor,slow with minimal interaction. I felt like they could care less if I liked the food or atmosphere. I would recommend this place to NO ONE!!!

We've always enjoyed the food here, but recently discovered they overcharge for take out... and possibly eat in dining. Just tonight, after purchasing 3 items, and only one being a combo plate, I commented on the price. I asked for a receipt, and was only given a hand written order form. I paid just to be done, but looked at the menus and was charged at least $10 more. I have a feeling this is a regular occurance because people don't ask for a legit receipt. Just watch for yourself.

The food was so nasty and cold . They put so much sauce that I couldn’t even eat it . They never cane to the table but once and yet charged their own tip. We couldn’t even pick how much tip to leave . It was horrible. They also sat us down by the bar and we had kids. I am never going back. Terrible place !

Clean, fresh, delicious! Went for lunch and the portion size was great! Plenty for lunch the next day. Happy Garden makes me happy!

Very good!! Prices reasonable, service excellent and with a smile. They go out
of their way to take care of you. Large portions. Nothing bad! Hours are later than most which is good!!!
No complaints!!

New to the area and wanted Chinese food. I ordered shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mien, orange chicken and broccoli. The only thing I enjoyed was the shrimp fried rice the other dishes was quite bland and lacking flavor. The orange chicken was dry and overcooked and beef in the broccoli was super chewy. Very disappointed....
