I ordered a country fried steak for pickup. Everything was cooked perfect. The wait wasn’t long at all.

Lived in EG over 20+yrs, finally tried Jaime's, recommended by my co-worker. It was excellent! Great food, prices, portions, service, atmosphere. I had the deep fried strawberry French toast. My husband had the daddy's mash up. We both have hearty appetites but still had enough to take home! We will absolutely return to try different items.

Unfortunately, I did not snap a pic because it looked so undesirable . I ordered breakfast burger and country potatoes the burger was just ok, it was greasy and made my tummy hurt a little because of the grease , the potatoes had absolutely zero taste , no season just some cut up potatoes that were cooked . My mom had biscuits and gravy her food came out cold and she said was very bland as well but biscuits were good. Our server was nice , but definitely Won’t visit again .

Great place to get breakfast! Fun healthy options. I highly recommend. I've been here several times and it's been great every time.

So deep in EG but service and food was quick & delicious! Their french toast was super filling but loved their biscuits and gravy.

Decided to try a new place since I was in town for a soccer tournament and so glad I did. Food service and ambience all five stars I ordered the special. I think it was the chorizo scramble. It was giving everything it needed to give and more ! My daughter ordered the French toast and that was amazing. Yes I sampled the French toast I also ordered two kids with sausage but didn't include a picture because my littles had no restraint lol yummy yummy so glad I got to try this place pleasantly surprised.

We've been here countless times over the years, it's our breakfast place of choice since live pretty close in the Lakeaide/Laguna West neighborhood. The last few times we've noticed a change in service. Today, we go in and there's a table ready but the host, young guy, thin and taller with lots of dark hair tells us it's gonna be 5 minutes. He went back to the to go order area hanging out and kinda working. We wait patiently and I tried to make eye contact with him like "can we sit at a table now?" but he never looked our way. Just kinda hanging out and not be cognizant of the front door. We see a few couples come in but are never acknowledged so they end up leaving. After 10 minutes of being there and not being seated, my daughters asked if we could go to Huckleberrys instead and we left. We'll probably come back but it'll be a while.

From the outside this place doesn't look like much, but upon entering, it was surprisingly spacious and a wonderful breakfast and brunch place. We were immediately greeted and service here was a superb 10.The bacon looked over cooked but tasted just fine with the perfectly cooked over easy eggs. The deep fried strawberry french toast were light and delicious. The Laguna Philly Cheese Steak sandwich was a little dry and could have used more seasoning and cheese. Coffee was hot and nice. Will be back to try more breakfast items here.

Hidden Gem!!! Weekday breakfast in Elk Grove? Definitely make your way to Jamie's Cafe. This gem has been here for a long time. The breakfast burrito is easily a two meal burrito and the strawberry fried French toast was ridiculously huge! Even the scramble was large. We had the biscuit and it was definitely worth it. All delicious, all worth the trip to this small, warm, sweet, comforting spot. Service was great and easy pay at your table was easy and quick. Keep it on the list of good, dependable, cozy breakfast.

We have visited a few times now, when they were busy and not. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. It's a little loud when they are busy but fine when not. It took a while to get drinks refilled. The food was so amazing. My goto meal most of the time for breakfast is eggs benedict. I decided to try something new here. Twice now I've had the Deep Fried Strawberry French Toast. I was really good. It was more than enough to share. We just ordered an extra side of eggs and meat. My child explained that it is like a funnel cake but better. It's crispy on the outside but the inside is nice a firm and tasty.I got my eggs poached and a side of hollandaise sauce. Their hollandaise sauce is wonderful, nice and creamy. Not oily tasting or too rich.Parking: There is a good sized parking lot
