I was here for a wedding reception and I'm not sure who was the McConnell Estates employees or part of the catering service. But what I do know is how wonderful and friendly each employee was who poured the wine, which was fabulous! I generally wine taste in Napa or Sonoma however this wine was right up there with many wines in those areas. The grounds are so well kept and the barn style are for the reception was fantastic. I'd highly recommend wine tasting here or booking a party for large event. Plenty of parking, large area for the dance floor and happy and delightful employees.

This is a fun winery with lots of summer concerts with both barn and outside settings. I have never actually been there for tasting, but we buy there wines at events and the are good for the value. In the summer, try their sangria; it’s cool and tasty

I recently went to one of their Summer Concert Series with a few friends. It was my first time here, and I’m definitely coming back! The venue is beautiful, right off the freeway in Elk Grove. There’s plenty of shade, so it’s super comfortable even in the summer heat. The concert series is amazing. They have a variety of music, food trucks, boutique shopping, and even ice cream! They didn’t skimp on any details here; even their bathrooms are aesthetically pleasing and clean! You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages to the concert. Since it was my first time, we brought some food and chairs, but we noticed people even brought coolers and tables. Next time, I’ll be more prepared! The sparkling rose was amazing, and their special sangria was to die for! Despite living an hour away, they’ve definitely found a returning customer in me!

We thought it was pretty good. Beautiful grounds and some good wines. Thought the Barbera was their best. I believe they’re known for their reds and unfortunately our tasting was white heavy. The whites were very average in my humble opinion.

Fantastic wines and beautiful grounds! We've been members here for many years and always enjoy our time there.

Great!! But heads up that for concerts everyone brings a tall camping chair anyways even if the instructions say to bring a low, beach-type chair.

Attended a concert here recently. Venue was poorly organized to the point that I watched the owners be very rude to a elderly woman and her son because 2 chairs beside them were moved slightly to allow 2 more chairs to sit without being in walkway. The guy who started yelling at them continued to allow him and his party make gestures at them most of the evening. There was plenty of room for everyone comfortably. Very unnecessary.

decent wine best is the medium body Cabernet and med-full body Zinfandel a little on the sweet side. ?

We have been wine club members here for years. Decided to throw a last minute baby shower for a coworker here. Originally planned for 11 guests to come. However 6 coworkers got out of class early and decided to come late. READ THE FINE PRINT. If you have more than 14 guests they will charge you $10 a person in addition to the food and wine we purchased. I have never heard of a place that charges per person. We cancelled our membership and will be bringing our business elsewhere. It is crazy to charge an additional $180 to drop off some wine bottles and cheese and crackers at a table outside. I even had to go inside to ask for a menu and go back inside to place the orders. Customer service was horrible sadly when I called the next day with questions. There are so many other wineries in the area that do not have hidden extra charges.

Art is great and the setting is unique! And, of course, the wines are exceptional!! Unfortunately the tasting charge has gone up as happens everywhere but, of course, waived as we bought several bottles. Also wine club is quarterly and no choice of wines if on the 3 bottle plan. Really like other clubs that let you choose...
