Excitedly woke up on a Sunday to join my Stepfather for breakfast at 10:40, according to Google Mel Dogs is open until 1:30pm upon arrival there was a foul smell of urine and the door says they’re closed on sunday’s, not just any sticker a vinyl sticker so they’ve been closed on Sundays for a minute? which is sad we were all filled excitement to try a local neighborhood staple. Here’s to hopefully experiencing a next time?!

Delicious diner fare in a business park. It's a little off the beaten path but worth the extra drive. Mel-Dogs serves delicious food quickly. The restaurant is homey and the regulars seem to return quite often and the servers know them by name. The menu is large and varied with many familiar items.

I have eaten at Mel dogs Cafe before and took the rest of my family there for the first time today. Food was still really good but the service was sad. There was a place to sign in and it stated the counter was not open seating, so we signed in and waited while a couple that came in after us seated themselves there and we were made to wait with no welcome from the staff. Every waitress had an attitude while taking our order, bringing the food, handing us the bill, or us paying the bill. There were even rude comments made about customers behind the counter that were audible. Despite the good food needless to say I won't be bringing my family back here or suggesting it to anyone I know anymore.

Went for lunch, server was not friendly at all, the server who brought the food stood with our plates in her hand and chatted with another table for about 5 min before delivering to us. My daughters burger was horrible quality and was prepared wrong, very much reminded me of the burgers served in elementary school cafeterias. We were never checked on either.
Amazing breakfast spot. Everything is delicious. The staff is extremely quick and friendly. There may be a wait when you get there. Please go by and show them some love. Quality food at a fair price!

Local greasy spoon, one of the local audio tint places recommend this place since i was waiting for my car. Walked over around 11, a few empty tables, and took a min to be acknowledged but once I was I was sat right away. Sat at the counter, got my drink right away and choose my menu item fairly quick. After pushing my menu away it took a few mins for them to take my order. Food came out pretty quick (breakfast burrito)... it was smaller then I was expecting for 3 eggs, but I was ok with the smaller portion. The flavor was alright, not seasoned at all. The home fries needed salt. So over all your typically greasy spoon.
