Was out running an errand for a neighbor and stopped in for a bite. I was greated and seated quickly. Robert was my server and he helped me navigate the menu because l have some food allergies. My food and drink came in a timely manner and hit the spot perfectly. Thank you for the excellent service Robert. Will pop in again.

I miss the Mimi's Cafe in my area. Had to drive over 1 hour to find this one and wasn't disappointed.

I dined in here on a Saturday, the parking lot was almost completely empty and it appeared nobody was eating here even when stepping into the restaurant. They did happen to be open with only one other group of customers dining in. The interior of this spot looks outdated and has a home like look - being a chain restaurant they try to make it feel as if you are dining in a local setting. Sitting alone with none of the other tables with other patrons felt certainly strange compared to dining at somewhere else such as B.J.'s across the street. Our server seemed friendly and accommodating, but the food was a disgrace. Chicken pot pie and brioche cheeseburger with a side of au gratin is what consisted of our order. The chicken pot pie was not even a pie - it's chicken filling looked and tastes bland and frozen and the "pie crust" is no where compared to any pie crust I've had, it was more like a cracker that they placed on top of the bowl. The burger tasted frozen and was way too fatty not to even mention the insane amount of sauce they put on the burger to hide the horrendous fact that it is frozen. I have never seen so much fat/oil used on a food item that their au gratin potatoes used - it was oblivious how oily and greasy it was. I would not recommend trying somewhere else for better dine in experience such as the personal favorite Black Bear Diner just a half mile down the road.

My husband and I just left this location. This was our first visit.First Impression - We walked in and the host had literally just stepped away to seat someone, but that didn’t stop the customer service received from a man looking out from the kitchen area. He warmly greeted us with a smile and told us someone will be back to help us soon✅?Second Impression - The host comes back with a smile and a mask on and apologizes for us waiting and immediately seats us and asks if she can get us anything to drink while we wait on our waitress.✅?Third Impression - We waited about 5/6 min before our waitress came and introduced herself with a smile and asked if we were ready to order. Now some people dining in would probably find that wait ridiculous, but WE personally were just fine with this! Why? Because when I first sit down and you hand me a menu, I don’t want to feel like I’m being rushed to order in your restaurant for the first time??‍♀️✅?KUDOS to Christine!!! She was a sweet waitress! She took our order and it was brought out about 15 min later by who appeared to be a kitchen manager, and he was very nice too!Fourth and FINAL Impression - I ordered the cream cheese stuffed french toast covered in strawberries and blueberries, bacon, scrambled eggs, and a side of roasted potatoes. My husband ordered the bacon, ham, and sausage omelette with toast. You’ll see it all in the video and pictures. The cream cheese filling in the french toast was supposed to be infused with orange marmalade, and it was, during the last 3 bites of my food. The rest of the filling was extremely bland and the only thing that made the french toast good was the sweet parts of the fruit on top. But honestly, this was a perfect dish for someone with diabetes or who is just not big on sugar. The bacon and eggs were PERFECT and so were the potatoes! You just have to season the eggs and potatoes to your liking. My husband didn’t like his omelette at all. He said it was flavorless, eggs were hard, and the meat was stale. Almost giving it the taste of it being steamed dry.??‍♀️??Overall verdict….I would come back and try something new, but he wouldn’t.3/5 stars for the food isn’t too bad, but we have had better quality food for the price at other restaurants in town.4/5 overall. We appreciated the customer service more than anything!!

I took off one star just because the website advertises that they have outdoor seating. I have a dear friend who very much wants to stay eating outside. When we decided to eat there it was because they had outdoor seating and then when we got there we were told they never started serving outside at all. Very disappointed in that aspect. That said, the food is just as good as it has always been. My girlfriend had the quiche and I had smoked salmon benedict. My friend had the corn chowder and grilled cheese sandwich. Food was very very good. Not too overpriced either.Vegetarian options: If you're just a vegetarian and not a vegan, you can absolutely get some wonderful dishes here. Not sure if your vegan if that would be a good choice.

YeahNot a great night. Had dinner at the bar. Slow to return to take my food order. Rice medley is not a pile of white rice. Chicken was dry and hard. Nice folks. Just an off night I guess.
