I would like to provide a quick review of my take out experience. Walked in and establishment looked clean and welcoming. The person that rung me up was nice and helped answered some questions about some items that I was interested in. I opted out because she recommended this dish to be consumed fresh on site. Now to review the food. I'd have to say food was subpar, I ordered the butter chicken and the serving was smaller than all the places I have been to in the past. The taste lacked all the flavors I am used to, it was not bland, but pretty close. The chicken itself had a strange texture as well. I also had the garlic naan and that too was lacking garlic flavor. Hope this review provide some constructive criticism to help this establishment to provide more tastier food. I give a total rating of 2.5 stars.

I cant believe this was behind the strip mall next to my workplace all along and I just discovered it. Back in the East Bay we frequented Viks Chaat, which btw, had all the dosas and chaat you desire under one cafeteria.When Mr. Dosa brought out our masala dosa I immediately recognized game after many years visiting Viks.Dosa was crispy, savory, had 3 dipping sauces that were loaded with unique flavors. Tandoori chicken was delicious too. Their Naan was a little different, dont think they have a naan brick oven, it was still good.Service was a bit slow that day. We went after lunch hours and they surprisingly had a ton of walk ins for whatever reason. Good for the business! They really won us over with kindness and good food. I would be back again with more friends so we can try more dosas!

Smells amazing when you walk in. Decent prices, and great food. I loved the Chana Masala and I was happy it came with rice. We would give 10/10 for the good customer services. When I told them that it’s my birthday today they played the birthday song for me and celebrated with us. Experienced this place last night for the first time. Singles, couples , families, nearly every table was full. Given how packed they were I couldn’t suggest a better place to dine. We were seated right away, our waitress took the time to walk us through the drinks and menu. It was my first time trying Dosa, what a treat! Looking forward to returning again and making my way through their entire menu.

Delicious flavors! Warm hospitality! One of the best dosas I've ever had and the mint and tamarind chutneys with the samosas were delightful. My daughter stole my last bites of the Gobi Manchurian Dosa to my dismay. The curried lamb and butter chicken were also quite good. Next time we find ourselves driving through, we will visit again! YUM yum!

We went to Mr. Dosa's for takeout, and we were quoted 20 minutes for our food. After waiting 35 minutes to give respect to the kitchen crew, we still did not have our food, but we started seeing other customers that sat down while we were waiting to receive their food. When we asked, we were told the kitchen was back, but when we inquired about the other patrons, we were met with a nasty attitude. We finally received our food after a 45-minute wait for takeout and were then chased to the door, asking, "Have we paid?" It was disgusting behavior, and we will NEVER RETURN and I encourage you to go to any other place in Elk Grove as this place is disgusting.
