Today, 04/03/2025 I called Nathans to inquire how much are they going to charge me if I bring 42 people (6 tables) for a small birthday celebration for my mom. We are regulars in this restaurant we love their food. Whenever we come here theres always 7 of us so if we order our usual order but for 6 tables, our estimated total would be $900 after tax.

The person who answered the call told me that our total was so low so they are going to charge me $100 PER TABLE. I was shocked so I had to clarify
"So you are charging me $600 total for 6 tables?"
and the person on the phone said "Yes".

I had called other restaurants and they told me 12% gratuity which id rather take my business there than this ridiculous $100 per table extra charge.

Nathan’s is under new management. Same owner as Joy City on EG Blvd near I5. The food is okay but the service is not very good. The ladies are very rude and not friendly at all. Next time I will drive further down to Joy City, the ladies there are very kind and friendly. Dim sum is only available before 3pm.

As mentioned in reviews, change in ownership has affected Nathan's Cuisine. I personally miss the simple food from prior.

I order them from door dasher, the food is good. I order the beef chow fun, chicken and salted fish fried rice, beef chow fun with black bean sauce, and peking spare ribs. Out of all that, the beef chow fun and the rice is bomb, flavors are allll there and that wok heat delicious. The beef chow fun with black bean sauce could use a little more seasoning. The Peking spare ribs can be better but overall still not a bad place to eat. I’ll will be coming back to try the other dishes

Nathan’s Chinese Cuisine was under new management a couple of months ago. They offer Chinese Dim Sum now. I tried it out a few weeks ago. It was very good. I'm so happy to know we have one more choice of restaurant to fix my dim sum stomach now! Lol

The dining room looks a little dated but is very clean. The service is good, even though it is very crowded on weekends. The parking lot is big, so I don’t have any problems with parking.

Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetable dishes

Parking: Many parking spaces are available

Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair friendly

The worst restaurant food I ever had.
The service was Ok, the atmosphere was fine. They used canned preserved veggies instead of the fresh vegetable. Food was really salty, no other flavor. I found a piece of hair in one of the dishes. They served the dog food.

Under new ownership, didn't care for the food, the servers were friendly. I will say that the restaurant was busy, so even if I didn't care for the change, it seems many others do.

I used to go here often, when I lived nearby. I was in the area and popped in for lunch. Thank goodness, the food was still excellent! The sweet n sour sauce is freshly made and is actually tart. The onions, peppers, and pineapple were not overcooked. Server refilled my water three times and was pleasant.

The waitress/cashier was not friendly and was confrontational. They do NOT offer napkins! I asked for napkins when I ordered take out, and the cashier handed me 1 napkin for a large shrimp fried rice for 3 people. When I asked for more, she said, "1 napkin for 1 serving". I explained that it was a large order for 3 people and she said, " I don't know how many people you have". SMH. She ultimately gave me 2 napkins, but I handed both back to her and said that obviously they needed it more than me. Be sure to provide your own napkins while eating the greasy Chinese rice!
