Birria quesa pizza was killer. So cheesy and the meat was tender and flavorful. I will definitely be going back for that again. We also had the shrimp tacos and those were delicious as well. The shrimp were not over cooked like some fried shrimp tends to be and it had a good amount of Pico, cabbage and a tasty Chipotle sauce. I would order both dishes again and am looking forward to trying other things on their menu. Also, the staff were very sweet and did a great job.

Was craving carne asada fries and came here since it was close by. The carne asada fries were super soggy and barely cooked. Also there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the container. I felt there was not enough toppings to fry ratio. The California burrito had the same issue with the barely done fries. The flavor of the chicken was very good though. Food is not the best but workers are very kind.

Since its inception, it has grown to two brick-and-mortar locations - one in Elk Grove, and the other in Downtown Sacramento. Their menu has a wide variety of offerings from tacos to burritos, to quesadillas, and even some less traditional items like their quesapizza. Their Elk Grove location is located at the corner of the Laguna 99 Plaza with plenty of parking, which made it a breeze to get to.I arrived on a sunny Sunday afternoon looking for a bite to eat. I decided to go with one of their birria tacos, and one of their fish tacos, an order of carne asada fries, all paired with their jamaica (hibiscus) drink.Between the two, I'd have to say the birria was definitely my favorite. The flavorful slow-cooked meat paired with melted cheese and the side of broth was absolutely to die for. I savored every bite of this taco, and this'll definitely be a go-to item for me in the future. Their fish taco provided a refreshing compliment to the rich birria taco, as the light fresh flavor of the fish paired perfectly with the cabbage and sauce on top. The carne asada fries were a little on the drier side; however, still proved flavorful and an enjoyable meal overall. I will mention that their tacos are definitely on the pricier side (at least in my opinion, but I've also been spoiled with the beautiful of low-priced tacos in southern California, so my benchmark may be a bit skewed).The jamaica drink was light, cool, slightly sweetened, and very refreshing for the warm Sunday afternoon. I've always been a fan of jamaica tea and drinks after my trips to Nicaragua, and the beverage offered by Netillo's Takos definitely took me back to those days. For those who have never tried hibiscus before, it has a tart, almost cranberry-like flavor - if that sounds like it'll be your cup of tea, then I'd highly recommend giving it a sip!If you're looking for some delicious authentic Mexican food in the Sacramento area (which in my opinion can be a challenge to find), Netillo's Takos is the restaurant for you!
