I went in New York Pizza to order for the second time since it's been under the new management, and I experience very rude service. I must say the food was pretty good but I don't want to spend my money at a place where I'm being treated rudely. So it's a no, thanks for me.

You would think that with all the much better competition and for being such a hole in the wall that they would appreciate their customers instead of being dicks.

Great service, great price and great taste. We had ton of youth come over to our house for New Year's Eve. Kids wanted pizza so it would be easy. All the kids love the taste of it and we loved the price and service.

This is solely based on taste. I'd rate it a 4.1/10. There's many pizza places around the country that don't look fancy, are old, etc. But the only thing that matters is taste. This was Costco pizza and honestly Costco pizza might be better so my apologies to Costco. The flavor was okay, felt very doughy, it was a thin pizza but had no crunch at all which means it needed to be in the oven longer. I really hope the owner reads this because I wanted this place to be actual New York style pizza. I've had good to great New York style pizza in New York. From Joe's to Lazzara's to Angelo's coal oven pizza. If the owner just watches a video on how to make New York style pizza, he'll have more people coming to his business. But don't call it New York style and serve this. The only thing close to New York style pizza in Sacramento is Uncle Vito's and that place is okay. Hopefully this place will be better in the future.

A regular here, been around since the previous owner, one of our favorite pizza places! Not greasy, not too saucy, and great crust! Plus a good price as well! I'm glad that the quality has stayed the same and maybe almost gotten better!

Been coming here for years and I’ve had enough bad experiences to where I’m never coming back.Today I ordered my pizza and they forgot to add one of the toppings before they cook the pizza. Instead of remaking the entire pizza, she crumples up some extra salami and throws it on after the pizza was already cooked.I ordered another pizza done correctly but paid for both without making an issue.The second pizza I got was rushed through the oven and super skimpy on the toppings.All in all I ended up paying $40 for two pizzas that are absolutely not what I wanted… this place is a letdown constantly, and there’s never any acknowledgment from the staff when something is wrong. They love to take your money and treat you like you don’t exist.I used to really stick up for this business and now I am definitely a hater of New York Pizza on Elk Grove florin road. Your customer service is terrible and you treat your customers like garbage.

I've been coming here for years. I've been let down enough to where I'm never coming back.. They made my pizza incorrectly, which is not a big deal. They simply forgot to add a topping. But instead of fixing it correctly and remaking the pizza, the lady crumples up some extra salami, and throws it on top after the pizza was already cooked. With everything being so expensive these days it's really not OK to cut corners with your regular customers people that support your business day in and day out. I ordered another pizza be done correctly and paid for both without making an issue. The second pizza I received was rushed through the oven, so it was cold, and the cheese was hardly melted.... Not only that but they were super scampi with the toppings instead of adding whole pepperoni they cut them all I'm half.. Like you've already screwed me once let's just keep it going, right!!!! I could tell that the gentleman behind the counter did not care at all ... No one apologize for the mixup, but they were all too. Happy to charge my card again. All in all I paid $40 for two pizzas that are what I wanted.. this business has wasted my money, and my time enough... I encourage you to shop where they care about their customers and treat them correctly... This place absolutely does not care about you as a customer, even if you've been loyal to them for years, so do yourself a favor and go get your pizza from a business that treats their customers how they would like to be treated -jm

You know, sometimes reviewing businesses can be very difficult just for the simple fact that you meet an owner of a business that you like because he or she or they are so personable they have great customer service, and everything about them says that the business should be amazing. For this little hole-in-the-wall pizza place, the owner told me he has had the business for about three years and unfortunately, I just don't see the cleanliness in the restaurant that I would like to see the windowsills are all dirty the LED lights are falling, there is dirt buildup around the edges of the counter, dead flies. The floor is dirty. I just truly feel that this little restaurant should be taken so much better care of than what I was able to see when I walked in. I do think that because they are located near a school. It is a great business practice that they sell pizza by the slice and the price seems reasonable for that since most kids do not have a lot of money to spend from the other pictures on Yelp that I see of the pizza that has been made. I don't see too many issues personally, I did not try the food here unfortunately due to the cleanliness issues that I saw I wouldn't try the food but as far as financially I see that this business could be very successful just for the simple fact that it's pretty much takeout only they do have a few foldable chairs and two foldable tables that I saw that are very small And again for me that goes back to the whole cleanliness factor. You don't have a whole lot to clean and everything can be moved relatively easily so I believe that this restaurant should be spotless almost all the time. Again, I can see where this business would lose a lot of money. I do see a lot of unnecessary expenditures, and I also see quite a few things that could be changed easily that would better fit the aesthetic of a pizza place and probably draw more customers in. I do think with some help this business could thrive, especially in the area that it's in even though it's almost directly located across the street from another pizza restaurant. Maybe at a later date, I would go in and revisit this location to see if things have changed, and then possibly try the food as from when I could see it looks like it could be good but until some changes are made, I probably will not be visiting
Literally had the worst experience of my life on my brothers death anniversary over charged me and false advertised absolutely made the whole night worst. This literally used to be my favorite pizza place for events.

Had a work event and called the night before to see if they could have 10 pizzas done at lunch time. The guy who answered the phone was super nice and related no problem. I gave him my order and we agreed on a time. I showed up and everything was hot and done. Super friendly guy! I took the pizzas to the crew and they all loved the pizza. I will definitely be back!

That pizza was great . Had to write this review ASAP . My gf and I were craving a slice and usually only buy per slice this place was awesome .2$ slices the dough was awesome and cooked perfectly. Everything is fresh as well . The worker brought our slices out-we were waiting in front of the store in our car and was really nice . This is a great smalll business and I highly advise supporting them 100 percent worth stopping by and getting a hot slice of pizza !!!!

My food was done very fast. I made a call in order and everything was correct. Not the best ranch I’ve had, it tasted very mid. They were calling me and rushing me to get my food. Aside from the onions the pizza was pretty sweet, which threw me off a bit. The person pizza was very affordable and comes with 2 toppings. Next time I want to try the calzone.
