We were in elk grove 12-22-2025 for a overnight stay. Stay away from here unless you want frozen food from. Costco. Fried clams were burned. Lucky if you get a dozen of them. Clam clouded was nasty. Tasted old and was watered. If nasty under cook. Fried fish was. Dry as a cotton ball. Very dirty place. Didn't notice until we used the restrooms. The older lady owner wanted to argue with me when. I told her this so called food was the worst we ever tried to eat. We left our food on the table and left. But we did pay. Our bank is dealing with them I'm calling the health department today. Gross!!!!stay away!

I'm not sure where all these poor reviews are coming from... These are hands down the absolute best fish and chips I've ever had. Better than england's, better than scotland, better than the East coast, better than alaska, Better than half moon bay. Perfectly fried. Huge portions of fish. Batter is light, fish is soft, fries are the perfect steak fry, and the onion rings perfect as well.. all Double rings sew two pieces of onion inside of each fried batter ring. I'm a travelin healthcare worker and of the places that I travel I always bookmark the things that I'd like to come back to or the things that were really off the chain... This is definitely going down as the best fish and chips ever! Only one criticism, definitely need to give more sauces. Like one cup per piece of fish and two cups at least for the onion rings. Number one tip you can call the restaurant and order for pickup. Online app ordering increases the price by at least $5 per plate. Pictures below include a clipboard standard size just to show how big each piece of fish is relatively.

Used to go there all the time with my dad before we moved. Was right next to my karate dojo before it switched locations. Even after that we would still go from now and then. The food was amazing and the owners were so nice to me. Really was a key moment of my childhood 😁

Delicious food!!!!!! Best Fish & Chips I've had in a long, long time!!!!! The bench seating is a very tight fit. Not very wheelchair friendly. But the food is Amazingly good!!!!!
It's the most delicious fish and chips restaurant in Elk Grove. Fish is very fresh and crispy. It’s crispy on the outside and soft and juicy inside. Other menus are tasty too. Employees were all very friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. If you come to Elk Grove, I highly recommend you to come and taste it.

Got the 2 piece fried fish combo. Dined in. Fish was crispy and the chips were hot and crispy. They had ketchup, tartar sauce and malt vinegar. The dining area was adequate, but they could definitely use a renovation.

It's hard to give a bad review. But it's easy to tell the truth. I bought the fish and chicken plate. The fish tasted stale. Not fresh at all. It's probably frozen, like the small pieces of chicken, but the flavor was terrible. I had 2 bites, and that was it. I ate the 2 small chicken strips, and those were decent. The French fries were good. Now for the calamari. Don't even waste your money on the calamari. It's was literally like a large rubber band coated and deep fried. It's was so chewy and flavorless. This was the worst seafood I have ever had, period! 2 stars for service. The lady that brought us the food was nice. The young man at the counter looked like he hated his job. I know that every business runs on a budget, but at least try to make the customer experience a little better. Each meal, fries, fish and chicken, shrimp, calamari, and fries came on a single white flimsy paper plate. Really? Every little thing had an extra charge. Soda.. .50 cent refills.. sauce.. 25 cents extra per packet. This restaurant showed me that they do the bare minimum for the customer. This is not how you get repeat business. This is why people like me leave bad reviews, albeit an honest review. Look elsewhere. Even Long John Silvers is WAY better, and that's not saying much.

Very expensive but excellent quality. For people that don't eat potatoes. Unfortunately every single dish comes with potatoes. They will not substitute the potatoes for something else.
