Been here a few times and never had a great experience so I decided to leave my review. Went out with some girls last Friday night and decided to get some drinks at Pig Latin. The hostess asked if we had a reservation and said is was a 45 minute wait because there weren't any tables. Only two tables were seated inside (the rest were open) and outside there were two tables full and a few people at the bar. Like 10 tables open. We decided to go next door to Station 16 and sat outside. We had the best service there!! The moral of the story - if you are short staffed then say that. Don't say you don't have a table for us because we didn't have a reservation because in fact no tables were filled while we were next door. Pig Latin is super cute , but food (from previous experiences) and service not good so I would not recommend.

The table I reserved - was not the table they sat us at first. We moved after telling them. Service is slow with 5/6 people standing around. Bar was even slower - place was about 50 capacity at most. All food / drinks came at different times, with at least a 5-10 minute gap. They need better restaurant management- basic improvements.

We sat at the bar at 5 pm on a Monday. The food was ok (rather bland). There were a lot of flies and a lot of staff just standing around chatting.
The female bartenders were great, but there was a male bartender, wearing a black hat, that seemed inebriated. He kept making comments to the 3 women sitting next to us and shouting like we were at a soccer match. One of the female bartenders said to them jokingly “let me know if you don’t feel safe”. I don’t think she was joking.
It just felt unprofessional and uneasy.

Ok, first a confession ; I’m east to west coast transplants. I grew up at the top of the tiny village of Tannersville in the Nirthern Catskill

I got the birria tacos- they were ok. My daughter got the quesadilla which was a good sized portion. The beans and chicharonnes were really good. The girls said the drinks were very good. Overall would recommend.

We were sooooo happy with our experience on Monday night. Had a family get together after way too long, and my son was even able to bring his golden retriever for outdoor dining! Service was great! Food was great! Spreading the word to our friends - we will be back!

Pig Latin is a great place for outdoor dining! The food is yummy & the service is quite attentive. The prices are a little high, but we went on "Taco Tuesday" when tacos & tequila shots were half price, so that was very nice!

Absolutely Horrible Experience I made a reservation through OpenTable and we were seated right away, which was great for a Saturday night. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of the evening. It took over 10 minutes for our server to even come by and take our drink order. When the drinks finally arrived (after we had to flag someone else down to ask about them), they brought them out twice because they were so unorganized, and still managed to miss two drinks for members of our party who had just arrived. From there, service only got worse. We waited another 20 minutes after receiving our drinks before we could track down our server to place our food order. When the food was finally brought out, the staff handed us our plates without warning that they were scorching hot. My son and I both burned our hands. As for the food, it was awful. Honestly, Taco Bell would have been better. The beans were so salty they were inedible. The burrito bowl had raw, rock-hard vegetables you couldn't even bite into. The hamburger was so greasy my son's hands were literally shiny from it. To be fair, the waiter did comp three of our meals since barely any of it was eaten. But by then, the damage was done. This was supposed to be my birthday dinner, and it was completely ruined. I had been looking forward to trying this place, but I will never go back.

This place has become our absolute favorite dining destination. The service is impeccable, and the authentic Mexican cuisine is simply unbeatable. I could go on and on about this place, but instead just go try it out for yourself. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We enjoy Pig Latin Restaurant. The service was excellent and the environment was festive, though it can be noisy. The food was served quickly and for the most part was excellent. One of the tacos was filled with fat and not actual meat, which was the only disappointment. We will eat at Pig Latin again.
