Best mexican food in elk grove.I love this place

Portions are great food is delicious. Try the huevos rancheros, you will not regret it.

WE LOVE THE STAFF, THE FOOD AND ALL AS SOON AS WE WALK IN THE DOOR. WE FEEL OUR SERVER IS FSMILY. HE TAKES CARE OF US!!

Service is awesome, we go there at least once a month. The carnitas tacos are so delicious and loaded with real authentic carnitas. Beans and rice are choice as well!! Chile relleno reminds me of the ones in jalisco Mexico. This place is highly recommend if you love good Mexican food. The 3 item combo is the best for your money

The meat was really dry and tasted like it was cooked too long. It's a shame because every thing else was really good and the veggies were fresh!

Taco bell food tastes way better! Bought dinner for takeout. Food was just bland & dry, no cheese on Nachos, Taquitos tasted horrible, Quesidilla was soggy & not even cut up! Just lousy the way food was served. Never going back & don't recommend at all!!!

We have been going to Plaza del Sol for many years, all the food is delicious. I especially love their chicken enchildas , chicken tacos and chili rellenos! They serve complimentary chips and salsa as well and The staff is always so friendly and courteous.

Service was awesome. Food just wasn't that great. Have been there many times before and liked it but not one person in our party of 5 enjoyed their meal. And the guac had an unusually large amount of tomatoes in it. Never seen that many tomatoes in guacamole before. Was not edible because of it. But the staff is awesome, which you don't find anywhere these days.

Vegetarian options: You can put potatoes in many items to substitute meat.

Ordered their largest steak burrito with jalapenos. What I received was a dry, flavorless, burrito, that had enough rice and jalapenos for three burritos. Nothing blended together. The cheese was clumped in one section of the rice, and after disecting the burrito, I ended up with a palm size portion of finely chopped meat. My granddaughter wasn't convinced it was beef.
The chips were fresh. However, the salsa tasted watered down. My mother and granddaughter dumped so much salt that it looked like they were trying to make snow.

Not sure what has happened, but walking in should have been a clue. There wasn't any aroma of anything that was or had been cooked. The few people that were there left with a lot of food still on the plates. We were fighting off flies, and for whatever reason, the server seemed annoyed with the questions I was asking.

The bathroom was really clean and smelled nice, but he place could use an upgrade or, at least, some TLC.

I visited the place a few years ago and was impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere.
Not so much anymore. ?

The food is delicious! We are 25 year patrons of La Mison Restaurant on Florin until it closed. This place tastes just like the old restaurant!

Not a great place. Food was ok...service ok... nothing knocked my socks off... will not go here again. Hard to find a good Mexican restaurant in elk grove.
