We had a party of 11 & it was a great experience. Our waiter was knowledgeable, prompt, attentive, and fun! The bartender, Raven is one of a kind! I am feeling generous giving 3 stars for the food, but both these employees are reason enough to revisit - at least for happy hour. ...And the stuffed mushrooms. Those were amazing!

The only drawback was that they were short staffed.Wheelchair accessibility: The doorway into the restaurant is a little narrow. An average to small sized wheelchair can fit through.

Both my meal and my partner's meal where way below standard for the price. Reached out directly to the restaurant with feedback and got no reply. Unlikely to ever return! Food was missing a requested ingredient and was nearly cold. Chicken was tough and overcooked!

We didn’t get a chance to order food. I called this restaurant about 20-30 minutes before we arrived to confirm they had gluten-free pasta. The person who answered said “Yes,” they had GF penne. When we arrived about 25-30 minutes later, I asked the host the same question. Again, he confirmed, “Yes, penne.” I was excited, my 12-year old, the one who has celiacs and MUST eat a GF diet, was excited. He was going to do pesto, the only actual GF sauce, with the GF penne, and add grilled chicken. All safe choices. Our server arrived, we got drinks and needed another minute. She came back, and we asked again to verify that there was GF pasta, and that’s when the ball got dropped. NO GF PASTA!! They had ran out for the night!! At 6pm!!! We said we needed another minute, because I was about to lose it. I decided to pay for the drinks, and leave, because there were no logical options for my son. I was upset and disappointed. When I went up to ask for the bill for my drinks, I found out they weren’t rang up yet, so we weren’t charged for those, so there’s that…but, I’m disappointed that at DINNER HOURS, they ran out of Gluten-free pasta. Also, they have limited sauce options, so, while my son will eat pesto, he prefers Alfredo, which, on their menu, is not gluten-free. Some adjustments could be made to the menu FOR SURE!I know people will ask “Why bring a celiac patient to a macaroni grill?” Because we were trying to have a family dinner. Which we didn’t get to enjoy.

Had the worst decision in booking a dinner table to celebrate Valentine’s Day at this Restaurant with my Husband and my Son. The service is so poor! We had to wait for an Hour for our Appetiser to be served and almost 2 hours for the Main Dish. As we didn’t want to ruin our lovely evening as a family, we called the Manager’s attention for the long wait, she just simply answered that they have lots of customer because of the Valentines Day. We acknowledge and understand that they might be busy for the night, but 2 hours wait is just simply unacceptable. She didn’t even mind in providing at least a courtesy for the wait like offering a drink or at least additional appetiser to compensate for the inconvenience. She just simply said she’ll look into the situation why our food was delayed, but she never came back. My son even saw her, just chatting. Mind you my son ordered a Lasagna, and does it take 2 hours to make?In the end, we just cancelled our Dinner and went to BJ’s. They are also packed and waiting time was 30 mins.. we got our table less than 10 mins. Our delicious food was served in 20 minutes. From the reception, the server and manager, they are at par when it comes to service and food.To Macaroni Grill, the calamari was good, but we had to wait for an Hour to have it. There is nothing special about it, but just a Calamari. We will NEVER come back again at this restaurant!

We had the worst Valentines Day at this restaurant ever! We had a 7p reservation for 6. We knew it would be busy but never expected what happened. We got there on time and stood in line for about 15 minutes before even being checked in. Once checked in, we waited until 8p to be seated. But that wasn't the worst part. After sitting there watching other tables get served, one server finally took our order. By this time, we were ready to order everything from appetizers to desserts. We did! But then we waited and waited. Finally, we got our drinks (water, tea, mocktail). The server said they were out of kids' cups and brought a quarter of a cup of whole milk... saying that's all they had left! Finally, we got bread, the soups we ordered, and the kids got their food. At 930p, we decided to leave. We NEVER got the adult meals or desserts. It was very disappointing. We also noticed people coming in after us and getting served. We noticed several people walk out in digust after not getting their meals. It was very clear that this restaurant was not prepared for a holiday! There didn't seem to be enough servers. The chef and manager kept going to tables apologizing. It was pretty ridiculous. This restaurant needs an overhaul. Maybe someone should call Gordon Ramsay!

My date and I arrived to the restaurant 30 minutes early. Thinking , maybe with a reservation we would be seated first. At least before people who were arriving after us ! First mistake I should have walked out at that moment !!!! We were sat by an open door way . On a rainy night with wind blowing in on us ! On Valentine's Day ugh ? ?... Then the most tackiest thing ever the waitress Logan wrote her name in red on my table ? any who . We ordered the food arrived guess what ..... The food was cold ? undercooked pasta and the chicken was burnt crispy . Never again will be going to Romano's Macaroni Grill - Elk Grove

We had reservations and didn't get sat down til 20 min later. Which was fine since it was a holiday night. We ordered right away since we were with our kids. The food didn't come out to us until 1.5 hours later and even then our kids cheese pizzas were still not out yet. 10 min later those came. The food was below average. Then the dessert we had ordered 1.5 hours ago was sold out already. Our server was great. The management mismanaged. If they didn't have enough cook staff then they should not have taken so many walk ins. We also observed a young lady sat next to us who found a plastic rubberband in her food.
