Didn't expect to find good southeast Asian food in Elk Grove. But here we are! ordered my favorites: papaya salad (lao style), chicken kapoon, nam khao and tried something new: Cambodian Kreoung soup. Huge servings of food! Def meant to be shared.
What the hell is in that Cambodian Sour soup?! Literally ✨the most✨ delicious thing I've eaten this mouth 😱😱 tender, flavorful cubes of beef, beef tendon, and tripe with a semi-thick, savory, slightly sour broth. Paired super well with jasmine rice. Wish I had pictures, but I was too hungry 😅😅
Papaya salad is a 4/5. Great mixture of salty, sweet and spicy. Dank fish sauce for life.
Chicken kapoon with bamboo and gizzards. 5/5. Broth has perfect mix of rich, savory, spicy. Home comfort food that hits the spot. Add the house chili oil for a spicy kick.
Nam khao was a solid 4/5. Good chunks of nam sausage with seasoned, crispy sticky rice. I wished they gave more green lettuce and mint--i love making wraps.
Will be back to try other dishes and order that Cambodian Kreoung

I did curbside pick up. My first time visit today. I was at my kids football game and in the heat wanted something yummy and I didn't want fast food so I remembered how I've been wanting to try this spot out. They did not disappoint! I got the crab cream cheese wontons. And a pork sandwich both were soooo good I definitely recommend

I originally went in for the Cambodian beef skewers, but it was recommended I try the Lao sausage. They are so good! Especially dipped in the Mien sauce ?? I can't wait to try more of their dishes! Amazing authentic flavors, friendly service, and they have all my favorites! Definitely going back!
Vegetarian options: A lot of SEA dishes are meat heavy. However, if you look on the secret menu, you can find a vegan papaya salad

First time visiting SEA Hut. Wanted to try it for years. My wife and I ordered a couple pork banh mi and they were excellent! Unfortunately for the staff it was 109 degrees and I think the a/c went down. while unbearably hot and trying to close due to the extreme heat, they were still smiling and gracious. Will definitely return to try more. Highly recommended!

Glad to find this hidden gem. We ordered beef ball skewers, which came with 12 beef balls. They tasted great, very tender and flavorful, especially with the chili oil. Kapoon and papaya salad were delicious too

This was my first time trying S.E.A. Hut at their 1501 N C St. location. I loved the shrimp skewer, and crab rangoons. The flavor of the shrimp was delectable and very juicy, not dry at all. I will be trying the rest of their menu. Their prices are very affordable, whether ordering a side or a whole meal!
