It had been a while since I we enjoyed The Sheldon Inn Restaurant, and we were thrilled that the excellence that we remembered was still present in our evening. The staff, the ambiance, the customers and especially the food were all A+. This was an evening with a concert in their back venue. Again, splendid and entertaining. Friendly folks and super polite, yet playful, staff.

This was probably the most attentive service I've experienced at any restaurant I've ever visited. Everything was also delicious. We will be back!

Great food, service and atmosphere. We ate in the Velvet Martini room upstairs. Good place for a special occasion dinner.

This dinner was for my Wifes birthday! They we arrived on time and there were lots of empty tables, they sat us in a corner, I faced a wall, and my chair was next to the main AC return and the thermostat. It was cold, my wife was in the corner she was warm. I ordered the ribeye steak. It was prepared as requested it was ok. My wife ordered the lamb chops they were terrible!! I have never seen so much fat on Lamb Chops!! She couldn't eat them! She complained the chef gave a lame excuse that they were the end cut and that's why! A good chef would never have allowed those lamb chops to leave the kitchen!! Buyer beware!!

We love Sheldon Inn! The food is always delicious, and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. It's our go to for date night and special celebrations.

Everything was great. Just wish the steak I ordered had better seasoning. It was cooked to the perfect temperature but not much flavor.

We went for brunch for the very first time. The wait was quite long for the food to come. We figure it was because of the fried chicken. They must've made the other four meals before they started on the fried chicken. The fried chicken was super hot. Everyone else's meals were cold and quite overdone. The ham on my plate looked like Canadian bacon and was thin and dry more like beef jerky. I had half a plate of potatoes and my daughter had 1/4 of what I had. I shared. Fried chicken and waffles were excellent. The farmers breakfast were not. The Waldorf salad had large pieces of lettuce over the main ingredients with cubes of chicken on top of the dry lettuce. We will not be going back for brunch. Our dinners have always been excellent and we definitely will be going back for dinners.

My husband and I decided to go to the Sheldon Inn to celebrate my birthday. The food was so delicious. I ordered the filet mignon, and it was the best filet mignon I've ever had. My husband ordered the salmon, which was also very good. The service was outstanding. Our server Sean was attentive and efficient. The atmosphere was perfect. We both enjoyed our visit at the Sheldon Inn, and we will definitely be going back again. Thank you, Sheldon Inn.

The Sheldon Inn exceeded all my expectations. The calamari was incredibly tender and fresh, straight from Monterey Bay, and the steak was so perfectly cooked that it melted in my mouth. The staff provided impeccable service, demonstrating top-tier etiquette and attentiveness. Our waiter, Ron, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, personable, and attentive without being intrusive. One of the highlights of the evening was the six-piece dessert tray they bring to your table, allowing you to see each dessert before making a choice—it’s a fantastic touch that makes the experience even more special. This is, without a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever been to—even surpassing our longtime favorite, The Veranda in Las Vegas. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, The Sheldon Inn is the place to go!

UPDATE:
After my last visit to Sheldon Inn, I was already impressed by the quality of the food and ambiance, but my most recent experience took my appreciation to another level. The manager not only recognized me but also remembered my previous review. His genuine interest in feedback and commitment to improving his team’s wine etiquette was truly commendable.

It’s rare to find a restaurant where management is so in tune with both their staff and their guests. The fact that he followed up to ensure continued excellence speaks volumes about the level of care and professionalism at Sheldon Inn. This level of attention to detail and customer engagement is what sets a great restaurant apart from a good one.

Sheldon Inn continues to be a top-tier dining experience, and I look forward to my next visit!
