Wow. So glad I stumbled across this place, I never heard if it before today.
I eat at a lot of smokehouse places, all over.
This is top tier! Don't sleep on the elote as a side.
Plus, they give you fun coloring sheets and markers!

I’m giving this place a fair review, I didn’t get a chance to try the food due to the fact they had no meats , no wings, no chicken, no brisket, no ribs…but they were very accommodating, we had to go somewhere else to eat, they have a awesome selection of drinks, but I don’t drink..not sure what happened

We initially came here for free pumpkin carving for my daughter for Halloween and it was a blast! The pumpkin carving stations and pumpkins were great and thoughtful and fun! We obviously had to get food and some drinks while we were carving pumpkins, and the prices were excellent! The selection of drinks and the food is great, we plan on coming back to explore all of the food. It was honestly amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We plan on coming back here many more times for sure!

This was our 2nd time there. Every employee has been extremely kind and cheerful. My wife and two other girls said the Briscuit Taco's are amazing (that's why we came back...she insisted). I had the Tri-Tip sandwich the first time...and ya, it was a "10". Second time I had the sliced Briscuit sandwich; there is intentional trimmings of fat on the meat edges - which sounds disgusting - but I trimmed it off easily, and then the sandwich was again, a 10.
I'm not a huge red meat eater...but sometimes, it's amazing. This place qualifies as amazing. Really, maybe the best Tri-tip I've ever had.
The interior remodel is very nice, and all brand new. The only reason for the "4" stars is that it's a little plain. Could use a bit more character. If it was busy, I probably wouldn't have noticed.
Both times, we got fast service and our food came out plenty quick. Great place, we'll go back for sure.

I ordered Love Child Bowl salad with smoked chicken on 9/28/24 at approx 6:30 pm while attending a dinner party on the patio. At the same time, my friend ordered her salad, but with brisket and my salad came out almost 20 minutes ahead of hers. The salad and chicken was so dry that we asked for another side of dressing only to realize that the dressing was only lemon juice, not the lemon vinaigrette that is described on the menu . The salad also listed roasted sweet potatoes as the first ingredient to the salad. I literally had only enough sweet potato to meet a Tablespoon measurement. As I continued to try to eat the salad, I felt a very sharp pain in the back of my throat And quickly realize something was really wrong. I reached into my mouth and pulled out at least a 2 inch long plus chicken bone that had stabbed me in my tonsil and lodged itself. I waved down the waitress, showed her what had just happened and she took the plate that I put the chicken bone on and then never came back. About 40 minutes later the waitress came back and myself as well as my friend mentioned to her about the chicken bone again and she said,”oh yeah, I told the chefs and they were so sorry.” Never once did management come out to talk to me or did anyone even ask if I was OK. Nothing was done about this situation and it was as if It never happened. Needless to say, we will definitely not be back.

Meat did fall off the bone. Other than that, there is nothing to write home about. It was seven of us who tried it for the first time. Very disappointing, sides were not up to standard, Mac & Cheese was dry, greens had too much vinegar.
I should have known when we walked in and did smell any BBQ, plus the food came out quick.
This is just seven guys' opinions. Try it for yourself.

I was excited to find out about a bbq place nearby. I tried several dishes: brisket, spareribs, and the chicken.

All of the dishes quite frankly were disappointing. It’s sad because I wanted this place to be great. There was no smoke flavor in any of the meats. The brisket was dry and under seasoned. The Ribs were not smoked and just covered in sauce that had very strange no vinegar flavor. The chicken was not very good either, they had a lackluster dry rub on them.

I had no issues with the restaurant or the staff, but the execution of the food just was mediocre. I’ve had better backyard bbq here in Elk Grove.

I do not recommend this place, go to the brewery next door and eat flatbread instead.

Staff was nice, the host was nice while he explained how it all worked and our food came out pretty quick. But unfortunately the food was just average at best. The Mac n Cheese has no flavor and the potatoes in the potato salad were really hard. The meat was tender though. Hate to give local businesses low ratings, but for $80 and everything being a la carte, I guess I expected there to be some flavor. The beans and fries were okay too. So not all the sides were bad. Maybe they can tweak some recipes or do some meal deals (or both). Otherwise I can’t say I recommend this place and probably won’t go back unless they change some stuff up.

Just had Saturday brunch there and my husband LOVED the breakfast sandwich. Kids loved the ribs kids meals (with soda and ice cream for $12) and I always love the Love Child Bowl with tri-tip. Katie and Marshall were awesome servers and managers. We will be back for a date night or girls night soon.

Dietary restrictions: All BBQ sauce is gluten free.

Kid-friendliness: Kids meal is a deal ! $12 for meal, side, drink and ice cream.
