I was looking for a place in Elk Grove that offered breakfast burritos in the area, so I decided to give Taco Express a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. It was an ample portion of meat, potatoes and eggs. My only gripe is I asked for sour cream which was they forgot to add. Also, the staff are friendly. I plan to return to T.E. to try other items on their menu based on my positive experience.

I really wanted to love it bit I got the enchiladas plate and I could make better ones at home. A lot of grease and not much flavors hopefully other things are good. They also charged me like $4 for a small thing of sour cream which I found crazy.

The food was overall delicious however it could be pricey and I order the birria ramen it was very salty but that’s the only issue I had but overall I would order again but I would just hope it was less salty

Been seeing these places pop up near my job so I definitely had to try it when I saw an outlet in Elk Grove. I ordered the Birria super burrito for a cheat meal after the gym - the size wasn't super and the filling didn't fill the burrito. The beef was soft but didn't have that birria flavour and I must have gotten a large chunk of fat that I had to pick out of the burrito.

Delicious & definitely worth the money! I'm hooked on shredded chicken! 1st time I tried Taco Exxpress I had shredded chicken nachos and 2nd time shredded chicken tacos combo plate with beans & rice.... PERFECT portion size I was full & satisfied! I just might become a regular customer!

Fans of the Land Park location of Taco Express will be pleased with this new Elk Grove location. The food may be a bit better at this location, based on my initial experience picking up my order in the drive-thru during their soft opening. I had the shredded chicken super nachos. The amount of chicken was generous, as were the other toppings layered over fresh, hot chips. The service was quick and friendly. I look forward to trying some different menu items in the future.

I went to the new location in Elk Grove off of Harbor Point today. I ordered a combination #2, online price says $13.50 but charged $15.98 and a mexi-bowl online price says $11.25 but charged $13.99, and a side of fries, online says $3.50 but charged $4.48. Nowhere on the website does it state prices are subject to change or varies by location. I attached a screenshot of the menu from the website.

I just found out Taco Xpress opened in the old Taco Bell location situated in the same building with the Chevron gas station so the kid said...."Let's Go!" As of April 06, 2024, it's a soft opening and I noticed no one has given a Yelp review so I'm able to be the first person to review it. Wahoooo! The nice lady behind the counter said their official opening will be on Monday April 08th. The hijo and I ordered the birria taco combo with consume and it was very good for a fast food setting. Mi esposa got a ground beef burrito and she gave it a thumbs up. Overall a great experience with little traffic because it just opened but I'm hoping it'll thrive in this Bidenomic / NewScumnomic era. Try it...You'll like it!
