The caldo se res tasted and smelled old. I called and they said they make it a day before , but it tasted older than that. Their salsas have been getting worse and worse each time. They used have a really good salsa bar and now it’s awful. I really hope that their quality control improves .

I've given this place at least 10 tries and they've screwed up at least eight of them! I've talked to the people working at the register and the cook seem to screw everything up every single time! The cooks are always in a hurry and don't read what is ordered they're just in a rush to get sloppy food sent out as fast as they can!. Tonight I ordered a carne asada super burrito and it was a soup burrito with no meat at all. This place is terrible I'll never come back again. Too many chances and you can't get it right I'll just go somewhere else!!!!

It's probably the best, most authentic mexican food in Elk Grove. It is an order at the counter, and find your table sort of place. The salsa bar is the bomb. Had takeout recently, and it wasn't as good. Pastor burrito was not great compared to the pastor plate I got on another visit.

Giant portions for a good price. Chips and salsa bar is complementary and includes a variety of salsa types and many grilled or pickled vegetables. This restaurant has always had many customers eating in when I've been there.
Been to this joint twice now, really high quality food, great menu and upon both visits customer service was great.

The California Burrito that I ordered was mostly a tortilla filled with small amounts of food. What I mostly tasted was just the tortilla. I rather had gone to my regular place which is amazing( Taqueria La Perla)but I was a bit lazy to drive for 20 minutes.
