I ride my bike and i add Ted and Ron's snow cone place to my route and then continue my ride. The have a drive thru if you don't want to walk or ride your bike. They have corn dogs ice cream among many other treats. There are benches to sit and he keeps them clean. I would visit them before school let's out because it will be busy.

Cute Little Spot with Concession Vibes
Tucked away in the older part of Elk Grove, this little hole-in-the-wall spot gives total nostalgic concession stand vibes. There’s no indoor seating—just a walk-up window and a drive-up window on the side (even though it’s not marked as a drive-thru, you can still order, pay, and pick up right there).
The menu is posted outside and has a fun mix of treats—from chili cheese dogs and nachos to floats, drinks, and a long list of shave ice flavors. We stopped by mainly for the shave ice. It was refreshing on a hot day, but the texture just didn’t quite hit that fine, fluffy shave ice feel we love.
We haven’t been back, mostly because we discovered a different spot that’s become our go-to (shared in another review). Still, if you’re in the area and looking for something quick, affordable, and a little nostalgic, this place has its own charm.

Worst freaking yogurt. Got 3 flavors, choc, vanilla, and pistachio. I don't know what the green flavored goo was but it certainly wasn't pistachio. The choc and vanilla tasted exactly the same. Gf and I could only do a few spoonfuls. I was done with it but put it in freezer for her. She told me this morning to throw it out.

A hidden gem in the heart of Elk Grove. Even with the expansive menu and options, the owner is still adding on new flare to this mom and pop snack shack. Drive thru option or order out front. Seating is limited, but plenty of parking area. A crowd begins to gather as the weather gets warmer. A perfect stop before heading to Elk Grove Park. Affordable pricing and a delicious array of drinks and snacks to choose from. Elk Grove's own version of North Shore's shaved ice offerings. Mahalo!

Once they switched from Zehenders to Ted & Ron’s, it hasn’t been the same. Got yogurt a couple times and both times it tasted HORRIBLE.. The new owner doesn’t seem too friendly either. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
