I really appreciate the hospitality they showed me today and the food was great. I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary alone because my wife recently passed and someone advised me to go out and do the things we use to. My wife loved going to Texas Roadhouse for celebrations and birthdays so I went to celebrate us. I couldn't really eat much but what I did eat tasted great as always. I was asked had I been there before by the young lady who seated me and I explained I was there to celebrate my wife and I anniversary and explained why i was alone. The young lady comped my meal which was so nice but it made me break down because I would have rather been accompanied by my wife instead of having to explain her absence. Thank you to all the staff at Texas Roadhouse. I greatly appreciate it and the fact that their is still civilized and caring human beings in the world...

The food is good. The ribs literally fall off the bone. The portion size can improve. I pay for a full slab but never receive a full slab.

We came in here random on a Sunday night after a baseball tournament: 6 adults, 7kids 6yrs -11yrs + 1baby. Kids at a table & adults at next booth over. Karl and Diego were absolutely FAB! Diego handled the kids’ table super smooth, confirming drink refills with the parents and taking orders with ease. Karl had the adult table and was perfectly! Drinks easy peasy, food out quickly and to correct persons, boxes delivered.
A larger group is not always easy but TRH pulled it off without a hitch. Thank you Karl, Diego and TRG team for closing out a very long cooolld baseball weekend with a win!

This restaurant needs new management new staff and better training the customer service is horrendous and the management have no idea how to accommodate diners, I guess I will just let the gift cards expire at this point. The issue I experienced tonight was very fixable I had trouble getting ahold of someone to place an order either being deliberately hung up on by staff and then never answering the phone again or the online system shutting down. Unfortunately Allison made the matter worse when I said what can we do to solve this instead of blaming staff or being busy taking the order would have sufficed instead I will leave this review and suggest anybody take their business elsewhere there are far more places to spend money and receive excellent service. It was nice Texas Roadhouse but every good thing must end apparently bring back the peanuts and Stellar service. I’ll settle for 1 out of 2

Terrible customer service, we were tossed back and forth like patients to different waiters, our last waiter had red hair, tall B.A lady, she looked tired with her job, did not introduce herself so we didn’t quite get to know her, she went straight to ask what we wanted to order, did a good thing to ask what we wanted to drink, we asked for water which took her about 5minutes, at the table she threw/slide/drug the water like she was playing dart, she looked sad, angry and unhappy with her job. The Whole time she was as the cashiers station scrolling her phone. Who knows maybe she was done for the day.
Overall food was good. Just one bad apple.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent visit to your restaurant, which took place on Elkgrove location
During my meal, I discovered a cockroach in my salad. This was not only shocking but also unacceptable. To make matters worse, the manager did not come to address the situation, and the waitress did offer an apology but just waitress he did a good job need more people like him
Additionally, I ordered a hamburger, which was overcooked and burnt. Given that my party spent over $500, I expected a much higher standard of service and food quality.
We go there very often to celebrate our birthdays, but this is the last time, and I'm not lying. There was a camera above where I was sitting. I don't want free food, but their lack of professionalism is terrible. And this happen today 12/10/2025 at 7:00 pm

Everything was great from service to atmosphere but the food, im not saying that its nasty or anything but when our food came it was just alright my son said his food was bitter burnt the chicken and gravy was not the best i recommend to order the prime rib and hand cut steaks thats where its at

First time ever at a Texas Roadhouse and it won't be the last. Every aspect of the experience was amazing; from being greeted with hot rolls and being able to pick out our very own steaks, talk about fancy lol(thought this was only in the movies!) The waitress was very tentative and explained everything to us, she was excited it was our first time there. She helped pick out an appetizer by what our likes where and the rattlesnake bites were so tasty, the sauce that was served with it was addicting. The bone in ribeye that I picked out was absolutely delicious and grilled to perfection; probably one of the best I've had in a long time, it too was tasty in the rattlesnake sauce... The waitress came around multiple times to give refills and to make sure everything was still going well. A manager even came around to see how we were doing with everything and at the end of our meal came out with a card for a free appetizer for our next visit, along with an extra bag of peanuts. Overall an spectacular experience...

I recommend using the waitlist on the app. We were being seated within 15 minutes of our arrival, and that was at 6:30pm on a Saturday night.
