The Waffle Experience Elk Grove

Family and I went here because my wife was craving chicken and waffles. My wife remembers the chicken being 2 large pieces of chicken with the bones in the past and wanted to go back. It turns out the chicken is now more like chicken tenders and what was a normal breakfast batter waffle is now a sourdough savory waffle.

The kids menu has a $10 strawberry covered waffle and the adult item was $16 for the same item plus walnuts and a few extra strawberries. I would imagine that for $6 more you would get a bigger portion because an adult eats more than a child but surprising to me the adult size and the child size waffle was the same size…

The best steak scramble on the planet. The steak was cooked perfect and diced big enough to enjoy a piece of everything in one bit if u are like me n like to savory all my food at once. steak, eggs, with bell peppers grilled to a medium char that cooked them just enough on the outside and still had a nice firm feel. The POTATOES OMG THE BEST AROUND TOWN. Not only are the a good size for country potatoes they were cooked to perfection. All the way through i mean soft but still crispy on the outside ! As for the waffles of course tasty but not like ur average fluffy pancake style but still delicious I prefer it. I suggest when u order this meal ask them to bring ur waffles out first or last after u eat ur main plate so they don't get cold. They would have been better hot im sure of it. I jumped on my steak and eggs what can I say I'm meater above all !!!! Definitely coming back to this location had the best waffle experience for sure the staff as so sweet and friendly. P.s. if u go please dont take the chalula! They had to replace them all. Pp have been taking them can u believe that!

Waffle was hard, and the avocado toast didn't have very much avocado on it. The flavors were amazing, but my waffle wasn't as good as it normally is, which made me sad. I'm not sure that I will go back on a weekend.

Everything was great, just because it was short staffed. So longer wait times and they forgot our toast, but the food was amazing, worth the wait.

Been here a handful of times and really enjoyed it. Service can be a bit slow because they are usually busy, but staff are engaging and have good attitudes.

We went today for my sons bday and the service was the same as it usually is, no complaints about that though.

Three of four entrees were good, but mine was not. I always order tye Country Boy Benedict without the egg and its always been great.

Today it arrived and the gravy looked like cottage cheese, no exaggeration, and tasted kind of blah. The waffle was stale, dry, and looked like they had cut it and grilled to reheat. The first chicken strip I cut into and started to eat was tough, chewy, and was not appetizing at all. It felt like it was barely on the side of cooked because when chewing it it was really "springy" and the bites kind of "snapped."

Potatoes were good as always, but I lost my appetite after the first bite of chicken, tried to eat some more of the waffle, but the meal was already ruined. I left at least 3/4 of the food in the plate and tossed a napkin on it.

Was bummed, but also wasn't going to ruin everyone else's meal by sending mine back.

Not sure what happened today, but my plate was incredibly disappointing.

Second time it shows open and they were not. Long drive for that.

Sever had to be asked 3-4 times for anything(water cream for coffee, etc.). Food was mid at best and most of it dry and not flavorful. Watched multiple groups walk in and wait for anyone staff to talk to them, leaving after 15 minutes. Got charged a fee because my wife took a bite of my child’s grilled cheese. Whole restaurant is dirty and sticky feeling. Learn how to mop.

Overpriced and Disappointed. Waffles gooey in the middle, potato's and meat were under cooked. My girls ended up having food poisoning. The service was okay, but layout of the place was odd. Family of 3 paid $100 including drinks.

I came from Yuba City to try the Waffles, and their entire menu is super cool, the most natural and clean thing I've ever eaten... and Ashley served us wonderfully... CONGRATULATIONS 🎊
