A great place. The chef and his wife are from the old school of Japanese preparation. You can feel the quality time the chef has put into your meal. When in the area, I tend to eat here!!! It reminds me of the time I lived in Tokyo my first home.

A fantastic dining experience from start to finish! The service was impeccable—staff were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. I had the sashimi platter, which was fresh and expertly prepared. The sushi rolls were a true highlight—beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The ambiance was chic and sophisticated, with minimalist design and soothing background music that created a peaceful atmosphere. This is a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. I can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed the no frills and cozy family setting of this restaurant. We had a selection of sashimi, nigiri, and a roll and everything was excellent.

very welcoming and nice staff. my food came out no more than 5 to 8 minutes after ordering (surprisingly fast!), I was brought a cup of ice and a straw for my drink right away. each cut of fish was a big generous size and the tobiko nigiri was completely loaded. perfect ratio of fish to rice. the inside is very clean and homey with lots of decor. Yoshi really shines in comparison to other sushi places, I look forward to coming again.

Super small mom & pop shop, very crowded on Christmas eve for lunch! Wide selection of traditional Japanese food, sushi rolls, nigiriWhat we got: uni, toro, albacore belly nigiri + sushi mix w/ miso soup + tako fry- would 100% get the uni again, the albacore belly was still a little frozen when we got it? maybe wait to thaw out and only get it at dinner :PWould come back here if craving traditional Japanese food. Service was impeccably sweet. On the tad more expensive side compared to other Japanese restaurants in area

I’ve been coming to Yoshi for years and am very impressed with how they maintained the quality, consistency and taste of their food all this time. Food always tastes the same as when I had it last. At times, wait could be long; but the food quality always trumps the wait. Staff also have great customer service.
Always great quality sushi with awesome service! The wait can be long (up to 45-60min at lunch or dinner) so don't go here and expect quick food. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.
