Z Town - Asian Gastro Bar

Would not recommend, service was not good, the food was okay. I brought my Mom for dinner to celebrate her birthday. I asked for if they did anything for birthday they said yes but then made us wait around 40mins and the time came by and I asked for a 3rd time, they told me I had to wait another 30mins for them to do bingo. Not to mention it was not packed, there were a lot of empty tables. Some of us have to work the next day so we don’t have the privileged to sit at a restaurant for over 2 hours not to mention we have an hour drive and they were starting bingo at 9:30 so who know how much longer we would have to wait and our reservation was at 7:30. If you are going there for them to cater to you as a customer don’t expect that at all. This restaurant runs on their wants, not your needs.

Do not go here without cash. They made it seem like it was our fault a card was missing after checking out; they took the forms of payment to process. No responsibility on their part for “losing a card.”

Their cameras inside the restaurant conveniently do not work.. but the cameras work in the kitchen and outside of the restaurant. They asked us what time the waitress came to take the check and payments.. They made it seem like we were there to get free food and drinks... they took no responsibility; be proactive so it doesn’t happen again. We are not the first people for this to happen to but nothing is being done to prevent this from happening moving forward. They kept asking us what we want..nothing.

Great food, drinks, and music. Many options for cocktails towels. Staffs and owners are friendly and responsible. Highly recommended!!!

“What dishes would you recommend” absolutely nothing, everything was bland and tasted funny. The meats were all chewy and pretty much burnt. The server had no respect and service was horrible. No mannerism at all. Do not recommend at all, we came here due to them blowing up on social media, but it does not live up to the hype at all.

This place is exactly as you would expect from an Asian late night bar type of restaurant.

The food was surprisingly good in terms of less Korean sweet flavoring in there food. Which is a plus in my book. Will definitely be a turn off for others.

The only downside is the price to portion ratio. It is some of the worse I have seen.

We have a reservation. We went there weekend for our Mother’s Day get together and also a birthday. We were 12 people and VIP. Order bunch of foods. The music and DJ was good and also the foods. But after 2 hrs one of the server told us we need to leave because we’ve been there for 2 hrs and there’s a lot of people line outside LOL. We’re not informed that it has time limit. They just want to make more money. We are VIP, and we’re not even done with our foods since we’re a big group and we’re not done yet enjoying. We insist that we’re not leaving yet 2 hrs is not enough for us.

I think it is great opportunity to have a night scene in Elk Grove, although there is room for improvement!Way too many tables after 10 pm. After 10 pm, it should be turned into a "nightclub" in someway. I wanted to dance or at least have the abilities to walk to the bar either buy drinks or just chill. Remove the middle tables, so people can dance. I know your team has done it before, but it is still too small. I want to meet new people, but the fact we have to sit down; it makes it difficult.It is a great first time experience to go, but would I want to come back and just sit while bobbing to music? Not really haha..Please take this as a constructive criticism! I love the energy and atmosphere. Just some small recommendation to get the Elk Grove Community to come out!

Very busy but staff still checked up on us and had great energy, dj songs were hit or miss but everyone has diff music taste. Food was great and the drinks are huge so bring your friends Lots of selection but the lychee soju tower was a fav. The vibes were amazing once everyone started to drink and more people started to show

We got the cheese oksu (5/5), crunchy fries (3/5), szechuan fried rice (5/5, if i ever go back, im definitely getting this again), bokkeumbab kimchi (3/5), korean army hotpot (1/5).For drinks, we got - snow white soju (this one is sooo good! 5/5), r&b (3/5), lady boi (5/5, we all loved this one. Nothing can go wrong with thai tea), blue citrus (3/5)Service was great, we were constantly checked on to see if we needed anything, but not to the point where it was a bother.

I absolutely love the vibe! If you’re trying to party with your friends, this is the place! We tried the vitamin c tower, it was sooooo goooood! We had their kimchi fried rice and it was amazing (I’m a sucker for spam)

Parking: 15+ park spots that is near or around the shopping center. Safe parking with security around and cameras
