Super cute spot for breakfast. CJ was delightful and helpful as our server. The breakfast burrito was good. Husband enjoyed the chicken and waffles with the chicken being his favorite part, however for the price point the chicken was smaller than the waffle and not really an enjoyable ratio, for the $20 price point we did expect the dish to be more filling.
My favorite was the coffee! Absolutely delightful!

The restaurant had a nice feel as we walked in and I had high hopes that I had finally found a place with a casual menu and good food in the area. My husband ordered the Reuben, which was more of bratwurst roll with some corned beef and cheese on top. It was tasty and filling and he ended up taking half of it home for later. I was disappointed with my mushroom melt. There was too much aioli on it for my taste with very little garlic flavor. It seemed to overpower the mushroom as it was sliced up and didn’t seemed substantial enough to be the headliner of the sandwich. I should have realized that having goat cheese as the “melt” part of this sandwich was not going give me what I would have expected in a sandwich called a “mushroom melt.” I ate half the sandwich and picked out the mushrooms from the other half. This left me hungry and since by that time it was already 4 pm and closing time, the server said it was too late to order dessert. As we walked out, I knocked the half of the sandwich that my husband had onto to the ground and it had to be thrown out so I wasn’t able to eat it later. ? I do blame myself for making the wrong selection and hope at some future time I can try something else with better results.

Currently staying at the Sacred Rock Inn so we had to stop by and try the breakfast here. The ambiance is chill and hip, especially the decor and the service was excellent and attentive.
In order of my favorites that we ordered: 1) Journeyman Sausage Scramble: So savory and flavorful!! The texture of the eggs were perfect, not too soggy not too dry. 2) Patatas Bravas: Oh boy, the sriracha aioli was a yummy touch to the fried marble potatoes. The potatoes were perfectly crispy all around. 3) Waffles: This was pretty good, i loved the crispness (tasted like sugar?) but was a bit too sweet for my liking.
The French press coffee was also delicious and STRONG!!!! Would definitely come back here for the scramble and potatoes! Will also check out the other dishes on the menu :)

Best Onions Rings of our lives! We also had one of the best Burgers ever, best Mushroom Melt, and Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich! The Mushroom Melt was so good my friend who only eats half a sandwich finished the whole sandwich and all the amazing Onion Rings. So good we didn’t get any pics.

We had a most wonderful breakfast this morning. The coffee is French Press and super good. The granola with yogurt, banana and cranberry was perfect. We had heard about the Chilaquiles and they lived up to their excellent reputation. Check out their house made hot sauce served in an eyedropper bottle! They accommodated us with our "egg whites only" request. The service was outstanding. The service was fast and our server was super friendly. The decor is nice with outside tables.
You can tell how passionate the crew is with their attention to detail and quality. So friendly and welcoming! Had the Elk burger and was blown away at the deliciousness… yummy specialty sauces add the perfect flavor accents. Had a root beer too- genuine Maine root beer YUM. Great beer selection too! Great pub style atmosphere

Right! The pub is open! Now we have til 2026 to prep them for the World Cup. The current menu looks tasty & the coffee is great, but a little tapas between lagers or Guinness might be great, plus some of the old fashioned stuff: fish ‘n chips -with the REAL crispy batter- a Full English, or a decent savory pie. Meantime it’s definitely worth the visit— you can sit in the sun and watch the world go by, or catch up on your craic with the the courteous waitstaff. Definitely has potential for live music, poetry, quiz nights and romance.

This was the closest dining option to our BnB in Elk, CA. It is quaint, tiny, with only a few tables, and a little bar. But the ambiance is cozy, the food is excellent, and the service totally down home. We loved it. Check to open hour days, and make a reservation.
