“Great experience! On our way back to Sacramento we decided to stop by for food. We didn't want to spend too much time so we were hoping the service would be quick and it was! The place was very clean and the people were very kind and friendly. And the food was very good! The pita bread was soo fresh and warm. I will definitely reccomended to friends in vacaville and be stopping here again.”

“No it's not the beautiful food shots that matter it's the empty plates at the end. Definitely five stars for this family affair of 15 years in Suisun City. Chicken satay, veggie egg rolls, crispy tofu fried to absolute perfection, brown rice, and peanut sauce. The menu has many other offerings. Many regulars are coming and going. Yes, we ate the whole thing. And then we were gifted with delicious sweet sticky rice and fresh mango. Heavenly! We hope to come back. Thank you Lisa and all the family!”

“At Café Warao, it’s not just about great coffee—it’s about the incredible people behind it.
I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and what keeps me coming back, beyond their amazing cappuccino, is the genuine kindness of the owners.
One time, while my wife and I were at the brewery next door, the owner recognized that it was my wife’s birthday. Without any prompting, she brought over a dessert as a surprise! That kind of thoughtful gesture is what makes Café Warao so special.
The coffee is just as amazing—perfectly balanced, strong but not too sweet. The food is also excellent, making it the perfect place to stop in whether you’re in the mood for a drink or a bite to eat.”

“Best Indian food ever! Worth the drive from anywhere in the bay area. The cauliflower samosas had just the right amount of heat, the rice was perfect, and the Saag Paneer was out of this world. If you enjoy Indian food, this is the place to go. So many good menu choices. I can't wait to go back🥰”

“Best noodles I’ve had in Fairfield
Kid-friendliness: Dined in with a three year old, they were very understanding of the noise level and rambunctiousness of my boy. Atmosphere remained tranquil.”

“Love the chopped salad 🥗 it was especially good tonight. Had Freakshow wine 🍷 (LODI Ca). Everything was good. However, my steak was tough & smaller than usual. We always sit in bar. Love the bar and although prices are up & portions smaller (ie, steak) still enjoyed our time together.”

“I was hungry @ 11am, as a full time Uber driver unfortunately I have to eat out a lot. I have had sandwiches for 3 days in a row I was wanting something different, but this place stood out to me on the Google search list, mostly because I haven't seen a sandwich shop with so many reviews sitting at a 4.8 of 5 rating, with zero 1 & 2 stars.
So, upon entrance, i don't love the atmosphere, it gives cafeteria with fluorescent lighting & push tile ceiling, flat white walls and ZERO decor, not even a picture on any of the walls that I noticed... which is fine, they want to focus on the food then really none of this is a problem.
Their menu, maybe 8 protein choices, maybe 6 kinds of cheese, maybe 6 varieties of bread to choose from, & that's pretty much it... I chose the "Joe's special" which is 1/2 pastrami 1/2 roast beef or.. corned beef I can't remember. Meat warm on cold soft French roll with Swiss.
They don't have any fancy sauces except for mayo & mustard, or really much additional toppings except for lettuce tomato red onion & pickles.. & pepproncinis. It's extremely simple & straight forward, which is actually kind of refreshing. Sandwich I think was around $8 or $9..REALLY great price for the Bay area & it's a BIG portion too.
Then after you order the sandwich, slide on down the station & pick sides if you want, I got the Mac n cheese & the macaroni salad. They were I think $3.69ish each
They did have fountain drinks too which I super appreciate!
I got a small bag of lays chips too
All together my Joe's special sandwich, 2 sides, chips & fountain drink was only $25. Honestly my meal would have been satisfactory with just the sandwich & the drink for what, like $11 or $12? Yess.
The sandwich did come with this sort of dark gravy that I LOVED as well.
I'll Def come back here.”

“Food was good, but service very slow and bad. Took us 90 min from the time we sat down to getting our check. plus you dont hover around us to see how much tip your getting. A couple that came while we were there. They waited 30 min to get a glass of water. There was only 7 people in there including us. Servers name is Luci. very slow, lazy and disrespectful never going back. Plus I know Raymond next door very well. Still got treated like sh#t... Very slow and bad customer experience. We were there last night.”

“I went to Dixon to Pedricks to buy tamales today 12/24/24, but they had sold out (1900 today!!!) But the cashier told me where they buy theirs from:
Chepos in Elmira.
I called to ask if they still had any left, she said they did, and that I could give my name inside and order when I got there so I could take it all in. I ended up with 6 pork, 6 chicken, 6 chile and cheese, a large rice and a large beans and spent a total of $54.00. Tamales are $3.00 a piece, rice and beans $3.00 each for a small or $6.00 each for a large. And EVERYTHING is sold HOT. So if you want to sit in your car and eat a whole ass meal, feel free, you won't be the only one. You can also buy drinks, and I heard another patron talking about their order of enchiladas. I also saw quesadillas and I think burritos on their menu. Next time I will be ordering ahead like a week in advance. They had PLENTY left when I got there after 3:30-4pm. They close at 5 today, idk regular hours.
But these tamales are SABROSO to say the least.
Merry Christmas, Chepos!!! You've earned a customer for life. Thank you for the amazing food.
Vegetarian options: I know they have vegetarian tamales.
Parking: Park where you can find it, there's more around the side where the mural is, just don't block the houses that are next door and to the side when you park. Be careful not to block the street. People are usually in and out pretty quickly so if you have to, just wait a couple minutes and a spot will free up.
Kid-friendliness: The food is great, very kid friendly. The employees/owners are so kind and helpful. They also have a dessert tamale, pineapple and raisins.
Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible. Flat parking lot, flat doorway, the door isn't automatic, plenty of room for a wheelchair of any size. Parking is quite close, so even if you can't get a handicapped spot (idk if there is more than one), it's still just a few steps to the door and back regardless of where you have to park in their lot. I have mobility issues and had no problems personally.”
