My kids went here today 7/2 and brought ice cream the cups were not even half way full I’ve never seen anything like this and I called and the lady hung up in face said she don’t speak English very unprofessional I need corporate number cause this is unacceptable

It’s not like is used to. Portions are very small every time.very pricey for a very small scoop of ice cream. I remembered when the serve a full cup of ice cream not anymore very disappointing.

I have lived in Oakland a very long time, but I have only ever been here once. The ice cream was as good as I expected. I got my usual pralines & cream and ventured into new territory with a scoop of cherries jubilee. Don't know why I didn't tried it sooner! I love this stuff.
The evening of my there was one person working there and he didn't seem particularly thrilled to be there. I don't like working for the man either, so I get it.
Anyway, here's the problem I had. My two scoops of ice cream we're almost completely melted in less than 10 minutes. I should be able to Piedmont ten without two scoops of ice cream turning into soup on the car seat.
I suspect I get the owner intentionally does not keeping the freezers at the proper temperature. I'm going to come back another day and see what happens.
Update: Today is about three weeks later and I'm going back. I'm going to test my hunch about the ice cream. I hope I'm wrong, because I really want a scoop of ice cream right now.
Edit: The ice cream here is very clearly melting. On some of the cartons they obviously tried to smooth it out on top to make it look solid, but it is clearly NOT frozen. Yuck. I'm going to pass.

We arrive before closing time 9:50 the store was no longer serving ice cream, they put everything away, if the door say close time is 10 means stop serving at 10
