Menu at the door is different from menu given to order at the table. What I ordered was spoiled the waitress said. So I had to reorder. My waitress short changed my money and when I told her she started crying and abruptly left. The service was bad, the food was barely okay, the atmosphere was depressing, the bathroom was dirty, and I will not ever go there again, even if I am starving.?

Long waits and very poor service. Whether you're looking to eat in store or takeout they really fail at this shop. They won't tell you when they're out of items, instead they just prep your food without all ingredients. If you want something tasty that is well prepared and is what you actually ordered i suggest going elsewhere. As a once lover of CPK it's disappointing to see how far they've fallen!

Parking: Large lots around, but no street parking near the restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is located on the second level, so wheelchair users will need to navigate to lift access, which i couldn't easily see from the storefront.

It takes so long to give us room to sit inside to start the order. There were a lot of empty tables, but they said we had to wait for 15 minutes. But it took 35 minutes only to come inside. Then it takes 10 minutes to take the order. And then it takes 45 minutes to bring the food. They didn't even get the salad or a glass of water—there was such lousy customer service. I never come back here and waste my family time. The kids were so hungry. They brought, after 25 minutes, only a small bowl with some bread. It's unacceptable that kind of customer service. I definitely highly recommend going somewhere else. Anywhere else is better than here. We tried to keep the kids busy with painting. The food needs salt But, the customers were not good. The food doesn't have enough salt, and you could not find it on the table. Waitress did

Used to be one of my favorite places to go but I guess not anymore. We went today after a long time ordered our usual chipotle pizza and chicken dumplings. The dumplings were completely not well presented when I looked I was like what went wrong here with this place. Then came the pizza, they completely destroyed it. There was no green dipping sauce and the beans and corns were ice cold. It was a horrible experience.I don’t think I am ever going again.

Service was so slow we didn’t get to eat in. Food was undercooked, and gave us stomach issues. We went here yesterday 11/20/22 - afternoon with a large group. I called a day ahead and told the manager that we’d be coming at a specific time. I called again 10 minutes before we arrived. We chose CPK because of the closeness to the AMC movie theater and we were scheduled to see a movie. They said they don’t take reservations but they would “leave a note” for the next day staff so they would be ready for us. When we arrived, my name was on the list and it took them about 10 minutes to seat us. When we were seated there was barely anyone in there. The waitress that helped us was very friendly but painfully slow. They had other servers but made her wait on our table by herself. Not to mention we all wanted separate bills (12 of us or so). After placing our orders, we were served one round of table bread that was a bit cold. An hour later, when our food hadn’t arrived we asked for more bread and she snapped “it’s in the oven.” We waited 30 more minutes and all our food still hadn’t come out so I went to speak with the manager who told me the waitress had just put in our order and there was only one cook. I said to him our movie was starting in 20 minutes. He said “we can make it to go for you.” We waited an additional 30 minutes for the food to come out packed in paper bags that were spilling out and dripping from being hastily packed. Some of our guests had to repackage their food and no one knew what was in their bags. In the end we were late for our movie because it took another 10 minutes for the waitress to finish checking some of our guests out. Only two guests (who ordered pizza) were able to dine in.Later, my child and I had severe stomach cramps because the Alfredo was undercooked. Unfortunately this California Pizza Kitchen has gone down as one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in the Bay Area.

Parking: They don’t validate parking, and the new parking system is very confusing. A lot of people were getting tickets.

Sitting in the restaurant and writing this review. I have been to this establishment before and was somewhat satisfied, however, today the quality of the food was obscene. To start off the waitress slammed caveman like torn pieces of bread down in the table with clumps of deformed butter curds with no care for any sort of presentation. Secondly, the spinach artichoke dip was clearly defrosted and has a mucus green film over it. Additionally the chips were stale and wet from a bowl that wasn’t properly dried. The Mac and cheese was grainy and clearly not fresh. Honestly, this place needs a health inspector to re-evaluate it as I am not even sure if the food is safe to eat. For a place that was a childhood favorite for me, this is incredibly saddening to see how far this location has fallen. I will not be returning.

Very strange. 5:30 on today, Sunday. 2 tables occupied, no one at the bar, people waiting for takeout. Told that it would be a 20 minute wait for one of the many, many empty tables, or a 20 minute wait for the completely empty bar. So went elsewhere until they get it figured out.

Tried to dine-in on a weekday night and there were maybe as many employees as tables seated (5 or 6). Yet, somehow I could not wave down someone to take my order. Seems like my table was forgotten and they were just chilling in the kitchen. So after 15min, I walked out of the restaurant. Nobody seemed to acknowledge my leaving either.

Food was decent but service was very slow. waited a long time to order and for the bill at the end.. The waiter never came and check on us or asked if we needed anything.

If you love very long wait times we'll this the place for you. It's a perfect place to kill 30 minutes before someone comes and take your order and another 30 to 34 minutes if your lucky to get your food and another 15 minutes to get water. But, you'll get your check less than 2 minutes. The food wasn't all that good. 7-11 pizza taste better than this place. Would give it a 1 star but, instead I did 2 stars because I really wanted to get out of this dump and head back to my hotel and doordash some 7-11 pizza and alcohol because the bartenders need to take classes.

We were disappointed and felt let down with the poor service last night at CPK. When we entered the door, the young man did not acknowledge us. No smile. Did not even look at us. No words. He just placed the menu on the table. Same with our waiter Monica. No welcome to our table and no smile. She never checked in on us after the food was placed on the table. The attitude of the servers were unfriendly. It’s like they did not want to be there. It does not take much energy to smile or welcome a customer. It’s amazing how poor attitudes and behaviors in a restaurant, create such a negative experience all around. In fact, It was so bad, I thought the staff are prejudice against all Asian Americans too. There are no Asian Americans that we saw on staff for a large establishment. The food, however, came out in 15 minutes so that we are grateful for. We will never return to a CPK again. The good memories of the past are gone.

Food was fine; not great but not horrible. Service stunk though. Our server didn’t check on us once, didn’t bring an item we’d asked for and didn’t refill our waters. I stopped eating because I couldn’t eat more without water and we flagged her down to ask for more. She acknowledged she’d heard us but never brought water. Because we had to be somewhere else and time was running out I left half of my meal and had to go walk to find her to get the bill. When I pointed out we were never checked upon and our requests for more water weren’t fulfilled so I’d left half my meal, she shrugged her shoulders and told me she was busy. I literally NEVER don’t leave a tip, but she did not get one. Just reading all of the reviews from this place and if this restaurant is anything it’s consistent in their slow, crummy service. Oops, should’ve read before I went there. I also really like how whomever replies on behalf of CPK actually thanks people for 3 star reviews, like it’s an achievement ?.

I called them over an order on DoorDash and the person who answered said she didn’t speak Spanish, and then I picked up the phone to see what’s going on and left me on hold for over 20 minutes. I had to call with a different phone and guess what? There was a Spanish speaking person. I tried my hardest to not lose my temper but they kept procrastinating and lying. Robert was the manager and at the end he didn’t help at all. Terrible service when you’re ordering delivery

Currently sitting in the restaurant writing this review so I don't forget. What a disappointment and I didn't even have high expectations. We came here because the other pizza place near by seems to have relocated or shut down, should've went somewhere else. Price, this place is way too expensive for the quantity and quality that you receive. Taste. The spinach artichoke dip was bland. Not sure if it was supposed to be a healthier version but I've had so much better. The Mexican Street Corn was okay, not sure how you over cook corn, but they succeeded. I'm not sure what it was with the Spicy Honey Bee Focaccia. For one, it wasn't spicy, but when I bit into it all I could say was "no". I wanted to spit it out. The pizza wasn't the worst, but it also wasn't the best. If we're being honest, it's very hard to mess up pizza. The cherry on top of this experience was getting the bill and seeing the fish taco I did not eat and expressed I did not like still on the bill, we had to ask to get it taken off. The only good thing about this place was the butter cake with Häagen-Dazs ice cream (Häagen-Dazs doesn't miss). I would come back here ONLY for the cake, but I would take it to go. That cake is the reason this place has one star (if you could give zero). I won't speak on staff because we only dealt with one person and the other tables seemed happy with their waiters. So basically, if you want food there are 100% better places you could go. If you want butter cake, this is it.

I arrived in the middle of the day with barely any customers there, yet somehow i stood at the doorway for 15 minutes before one of their workers even acknowledged me. Then, once i was seated, the workers proceeded to ignore me for another 20 MINUTES. WHICH I FIND RIDICULOUS. I am beyond upset, once the workers came they were rude and arrogant. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will NOT be coming back ever. I blame the managers because they were grossly understaffed. There was 1 waiter for the entire restaurant. Terrible experience.
