WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:you can read hundreds of reviews about this place, but it all boils down to this: if you're in the area stop by and try the secret breakfast ice cream. It's magical. Staff is friendly, they tend to keep the store temp warm in the winter which is nice, the prices seem a bit high (my only small gripe) but none of this really matters. Eat the secret breakfast ice cream and it will put a smile to your face.

I left paying for a $6.25 scoop of ice cream. When I got home, I checked my bank acct and apparently, the guy who helped me today helped himself to a $3 tip which I didn't authorize. Way to go in giving yourself a 50% tip. I will tell all my mom friends never to take their families there EVER!

Despite the sign on the door saying they open at 2pm - they were open at 1:15 today. I feel like they would benefit from an "open" sign. Especially since it's a "dark" looking place so you're not sure if they are open. The guy working was nice - and the place has that ice cream shop smell (it's good) I enjoyed my scoop and would go back and enjoy it again.

The Bay Street restaurants have always seemed a bad fit for the shipping district, so I was thrilled to hear of an overall in the works.Humphrey Slocombe is part of the new offerings, complete with outdoor dining on the public thoroughfare side (complete with gas fireplace and lounging areas available to all). The whole thing is cozy and inviting as it was repellent before. The unusual flavors carry the day. This is a place to make new, cherished memories. Secret Breakfast is unabashed win. No hints given. Brown Butter was surprisingly complex; I legit returning to it. Serengeti Sunset (a collaboration with The Lion King Musical) was confusing, and I've been to South Africa. Not bad, mind you, just confusing. There are so many enticing flavors that Humphrey Slocombe will be a regular part of our shopping trips.

I’ve come here twice in the evening when it says it’s open online and on the door but it was closed :’(

I've been in twice. The first time, service wasn't great but the ice cream was good. The dairy-free flavors are surprisingly good! The second time, the ice cream was flaky and icy, and not very creamy at all. The cocoa nib flavor as a whole wasn't great, but it was the texture that really ruined it for me. I don't go out to ice cream often, so I probably won't spend that outing here next time.

Way over priced and mediocre service. I asked for a s'mores sundae and not sure if the guy knew how to make one. It was just a small scoop for 10 dollars.

So good!Quick line, super friendly guy solo working the store on a weekend, amazing ice creamSecret breakfast - definitely the best and it's always a must when visiting any of their locationsMission impossible - spicy, like a warm hot vanilla, very comforting and uniqueOverall would visit again for the rotating flavors

I stopped by here while walking back from the theater. I was intrigued by some of the flavors listed since I wasn't sure from the titles what was in them (like secret breakfast). I sampled malted chocolate, the oil and vinegar flavor, and honey graham. The malted chocolate seemed to have a different texture and was just alright; I actually thought the oil and vinegar wasn't bad although it definitely sounds unconventional. I ended up getting a single scoop of honey graham, since it's sweet but also has more density to the texture due to the graham clumps. They didn't have prices for the sizes on the wall, so I was in for a negative surprise when finding that the single scoop was $6.25 (before tax/tip). The ice cream itself was fine but I don't know that I'd pay this much for it.

Delicious unusual ice cream combinations. Worth a try when you're down on Bay Street. Cereal flavor was yummy.

Came here June 20 around 5:20 PM. Whoever that guy was working, was very rude. Zero customer service, there’s only 2 flavors available yet have a sign outside with all flavors. Seems like it’s a “chor” when someone comes in. I have kindly asked if I could have an extra cup a larger than 1 scoop since i’m driving home and it might melt and spill in the car. This is what he told me “sorry can”t give you a larger cup its only for double scoop because the big cups cost more and these cups are expensive”. I’m a GM myself and that is such an awful thing to say. You prioritize cost more than your customer service.

Great service but they sold me an expired pint that I ate.. I only realized that something was wrong when I tried a couple spoonfuls that tasted very wrong and then looked at the bottom of the pint - happened to see an expired date. One of the other pints we got didn’t even have an expiration date.
