Overall this is a cute spot to grab a sweet treat. It’s a lot. And I mean a lot, the ice cream, cake, icing, sprinkles and other extras on the jars, probably fantastic for kids but a lot for me.

JARS Emeryville is the spot! They have so many festive and creative flavors to choose from, and each jar you get is a dream for your taste buds. My favorites so far? The banana cream pie jar and the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake jar… yeeessss! Both are an easy 12/10.

The staff, known as “jar tenders”, are warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the flavors, making the whole experience even better.

I went here on a Saturday around 7pm and there was no wait! However, there was a crowd a little AFTER I arrived. Anyways, I always love getting desserts after dinner so I decided to try this place and the cute ambiance outside the store was what drew me in!

My top 2 favorite jar flavors from the Fall Flights were the Carrot Cake and Memphis Mafia (Peanuts) jars. I loved how the Carrot Cake wasn't too sweet and had cake pieces, which made it a nice treat. The Memphis Mafia was my other favorite since it reminded me of my favorite chocolate candy because of the crushed peanuts.

The staff are nice and helpful and I like how they wanted to know what my favorite jar flavors were. Everything tasted good too and I love how much variety they have.

If you’re sweet tooth is sweet toothing and in need of relief, Jars is a must-visit! They specialize in an amazing variety of flavored filled jars layered with the perfect ratio of custard, cake, and toppings.

Their milkshakes and soft serve ice cream also come in Jars specific flavors and are equally satisfying options on the menu. Their refreshing drinks also pair perfectly with your treats or stand alone superbly!

My current go to flavors are the Pumpkin Cheesecake jar (seasonal), the Banana Cream Pie milkshake, the Oreo Cookies and clCream soft serve, and the Blue Raspberry Lemonade refresher.

What truly sets Jars apart is the incredible staff. They are consistently friendly and genuinely make you feel welcome, enhancing every visit. Lovelovelove those Jartenders!

The store itself is always clean and inviting, creating a warm atmosphere that encourages you to linger and enjoy your desserts.

Overall, Jars is the perfect place for anyone seeking a sweet escape. I highly recommend it!

Does strawberry jam belong on Tres Leches?

Was super disappointed with the Tres Leches that just tasted of sugar, strawberry jam, and more sugar!

Maybe the other flavors are better but the taste was average and not worth the price

What a sell-out Fabio is - literally slapped his name on this establishment and onboarded corporation like Nabisco/Kraft/Mondelez International so they can sell Oreo flavored items. So sad. Tastes terrible and expensive too. Not worth it at all.

I recently visited a new dessert spot, and it was a delightful experience! They offer a variety of delicious JARS filled with custard and cake, which are both indulgent and beautifully layered. The cake shakes are a must-try—rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. The soft serve is equally impressive, perfectly smooth and refreshing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the fun atmosphere of the store. Overall, it’s a fantastic addition to Bay Street in Emeryville for anyone with a sweet tooth!

This is a fun concept for dessert. We tried the triple chocolate and banana cream there and it blurs the line between cake and pudding. The concept is innovative with a lot of potential to rotate in new SKUs and keep things interesting. Will definitely consider using it for catered events and an alternative to cupcakes.

I've been there twice now. Everything is spot on! "Jartender" was attentive and friendly. The Raspberry Double Chocolate Cake JAR was delicious. The place was clean. Offer refreshing cold drinks and soft serve, if the JARS are too elaborate for your taste. Their loyalty program is motivating...free JAR upon downloading the app, and a few discounts followed. This was before their official grand opening, which I think is today (9/27/24). Fun and unique addition to Bay Street. Check it out.

Parking: All parking near Bay Street is paid. Not aware of any "free" parking. (I'm sure IKEA doesn't take kindly to parking in their lot and walking over to Bay Street.) However, I've never had a problem getting a spot.

Great staff!! Fast and friendly! Great dessert.

I wish I could’ve tried it. I stopped by after work, paid for parking, walked over to the shop only to see a sign that said “Closed for a staff meeting. We will reopen at 6.” I came to the mall specifically for this but I don’t have 20 min to wait…the parking meter will expire in a few mins 🙁

I'm a soft serve fan, so I tried the cookies and cream soft serve, and I'd get it again. The person at the counter was super nice and helpful! Bright and clean spot at the Bay St. mall.
