Hello the apple danish was good so no complaints there. The service was not great because the cashier was trying to multitask as she was taking my order. I placed finally placed my order after like 20 minutes of her multitasking other customers. So I finally picked up my order and it was wrong so went back to the cashier to let her know that my order was wrong so she gave me a refund for her mistake. Maybe more training is needed! The ambiance in the store was decent most people were happy just enjoying the experience.

This is a great Peet's location. It's in the Emeryville public market, so if you're with someone who wants variety, and all you want is coffee, this is definitely the place to be. If the seating inside the store is full, there's plenty of places to sit in the public market. The staff are always very friendly and responsive. They almost never have medium roast brewed, but they will always brew a special pot just for me. I certainly hope I'm not the only one ordering it, or that's a lot of wasted coffee. The reason for four and not five stars, There are often vagrant level computer users in this coffee shop. People will come in here and set up an entire desktop computer workstation consuming 5 ft of seating area. I say vagrant level, because these setups tend to be dirty looking and accumulate a bunch of trash.

My visits to this Peet's location remain consistently pleasant. The store seems to be a reflection of the standards the manager sets in motion. This team is always lively, and considerate. Store can get loud at times, so they always make a point to communicate with customers as they wait for their bar beverages. My visits to this Peet's location remain consistently pleasant. I just stopped in this establishment for the first time, I was immediately greeted with a smile, nothing enlightens my mood more than smiling faces. Ordered the cheddar breakfast sandwich with a coffee, it was tasty! I love the atmosphere here it's a very cool place and very inviting.

Service is great! love the ambiance as well. But, I've given multiple tries again but the coffee here, especially the espresso are always on the really burnt side... I wish they would solve that coz it's starting the get the rep as a "bad peet's".

Quality/Quantity - My favorite chain for drip coffee.Atmosphere - One of the larger Peets, well built, see pictures.Cooler, more modern design.Indoor, outdoor seating.Bathrooms are in the mall; there is a rear exit.Parking across the street, be safe.Open 7 days a week, see picture, Yelp, or website. Hours differ slightly, probably due to last call.Service - Good. I also like that you are back to self service for the cream and sugar.Price - $2.80 for a small drip; are you 10¢ more than Alameda Peets? Or did you raise the price in the last 3 weeks?Owner Comment - Thanks for opening a Peets in Emeryville in 2006.Congrats on your success since 1966 with your first location in Berkeley, CA at Vine and Walnut. And in 1971, you trained 3 young entrepreneurs who then started a new venture called Starbucks.

Coffee is good, the staff very friendly, excellent service. The music can be loud once in a while and sometimes invaded by the homeless. A very hard problem to deal with.Overall, best coffee in town!Nothing compares

Yes, you can get good coffee drinks here at the market. And this chain is locally-based so we like to support it. Good experience.

I needed a caffeine fix and came to Peet's during lunch. It was quite busy with a line. I ordered my usual iced decaf latte with a splash of heavy cream. My order came out quickly! The employee making my drink verified if 2% milk was okay with just a splash of heavy cream, which I appreciated. The coffee was perfect! The shop is clean and love the design and layout of the space!

So wonderful to have good coffee and pastries right here in the train station. Cayla was friendly and informative. The coffee was perfectly brewed and the cheese danish was warm and moist. My nephew also gives two thumbs up to the handmade chocolate milk.

People make a place, and within 5 minutes of being in the store I was super impressed with the vibes and atmosphere Jared created in the store! Though it might be a chain, I saw him compliment and encourage two coworkers, and two customers just while I waited to get a coffee. It brightened my day to see such positivity and friendliness in what can often be a more impersonal feel!

4th time here because I live nearby, if you check my profile you'll see how much I hate the apartment complex I'm living currently... they got 1star anyways, Writing reviews to chain brands is kind of unworthy but there's something special about this location in Emeryville. The employees here really make it for a unique experience... whoever trained this team, should be responsible for training every coffee shop in the bay. The Havana Capuccinos here are so good... it's surprising! Thank you!

I visited Peet's Coffee & Tea in Emeryville while exploring the Emeryville Public Market. First of all, I just love the Market place. So many yummy places to eat or just to snack and try all the various outlets there. I ordered the Caffe Mocha. Just so delicious. The hostess Cassandra and the Cashier Takara were kind and helpful. You can tell they enjoy what they do there. The mocha was rich and I could definitely taste the coffee in this drink unlike other places where I only taste the chocolate. It was a pick me up which I needed.

I love an old school Peet's Coffee & Tea and in the Emeryville Public Market in Emeryville, California, they still have one of their more venerable locations, complete with a currently unused coffee bean roasting and coffee drip bar! Located along a newly realigned Shellmound Street on the outside of the huge tower that also holds the Emeryville Public Market, this location of Peet's Coffee has been around almost as long as the indoor marketplace has, but not quite, as this was a location that was added on, at least twenty years ago, if not earlier. From my memory of what was so wonderful about this location was that parking was so easily accessible since there was a huge open and free parking lot across the street that served to aid the customers of the Public Market as a whole. Now this has all changed since they tore down the old cinema, and in its place they have built multiple new buildings with new apartments and storefronts. Unfortunately time has crept up on the new developments, as the times we are currently living in has put everything on hold, including any new businesses. This includes the parking lot that once existed right in front of this Peet's Coffee location and a couple years ago, Shellmound Street was realigned to be in front of the Peet's Coffee location to make the scene more "town center" friendly where people can live, shop, eat and walk among all of the towers around them. With everything on hold, there is a huge open lot across their entrance on Shellmound Street with no parking available. Instead, if you want to park near this location on Peet's, then you have to try for street parking on Shellmound, which I was lucky enough to get on the Friday afternoon I went. The reason we came on this warm Friday afternoon, was because I was due a complimentary drink thanks to me earning enough points via my Peets app, which is like a frequent visitor stamp card, but even simpler since all you have to do is check-in on the app whenever you order a drink from any Peet's Coffee locations. And since it was so warm outside, I knew I wanted a blended drink, which at Peet's they call Frappé, which is their version of a Frappuccino, but at Peet's there are no substitutions or are you allowed to make with your own set of ingredients, as one would enjoy at one of their rivals. As I prepared to order the drink I consider my tried and true, which is their Chocolate & Caramel Frappé, I was surprised to see on one of their stationary menus along their wall above their counter that they had three new seasonal Frappe that were according to the menu were "rich, dreamy and smooth" and only available for a limited time for the season. So I decided to order their Strawberry Crème Frappé which had strawberry puree blended with creamy milk, ice, and layered with even more strawberry puree. While my friend ordered their Mocha Strawberry Frappé, which was a double strength Baridi Cold Brew mixed with Peet's homemade chocolate sauce, whipped with milk and ice, then layered with real strawberry puree. Perhaps because these were newer and not a traditional Frappé drinks that their baristas were used to making, the drinks did take a little extra time to make, but once we got them in our hands, we could not be more pleased as they were both the perfect sweet treats for the warm weather and could be considered a pure taste of summer! They were creamy beverages that when drinking one could not even know that coffee was even in the drink. Most importantly, who knew one could get this fantastic creation at Peet's, as they tend to have the same Frappé drinks on their menu day in and day out with very little changes or personal orders allowed. My only wish is that they allowed for these drinks beyond that of summer, even year-round as they would no doubt be top sellers. Alas, this was not meant to be, as by late August, Peet's as a whole had already moved onto their Fall Flavors, and of course there were no seasonal Frappés on their menu anymore. Nevertheless
