Good but not spectacular food. Still an old-timer in the neighborhood so it earns our support. They could up their coffee game a bit (no medium roast?)

Had a breakfast here and enjoyed the granola with fruit and yoghurt as well as a decaf cappuccino. Staff were very friendly and I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Great breakfast/lunch cafe, but coffee was ok.

Breakfast burrito, chai latte, and frittata on sesame bagel were phenomenal.

Value was OK.

Service was great and quick!

Delicious food and very friendly staff. I enjoy the El Fuego sandwich and sitting in the lovely cafe. The owner/manager is very kind and accommodating for groups and special requests etc

They hollow out their bagels and load it with cream cheese. I’m sure the rest of the menu is good, but this is a disgrace to bagels especially for nearly $6

I showed up, unknowingly, a few minutes after closing time. On finding out that they had just closed, I was about to leave, but the owner, Albert, insisted that I not walk out hungry. He recommended a sandwich, and seated me at a table. I felt taken care of that day.

I had just been at Stanford Ortho & was famished. I asked the Valet if there was a place to eat. Ruby's Cafe was just a block away. It gave me a chance to try a new restaurant.
The owners were so nice. I had trouble opening the GF peanut butter cookie that was wrapped & they did it for me. We joked how we take our arms for granted.
The latte was delicious. We each had different entrees. Me Avacado toast I can't wait to try this at home, yum!
My honey had the breastfast chorizo sandwich and a cinammon roll.
What a nice local treat.
If you are in the area, do stop in.
Seating both inside and outside.
They had a whole table with to go orders. Plus, people waiting for take out orders.
Some customers were enjoying coffee and working. Very relaxing environment.

Originally had the GPS to go to a big chain cafe for breakfast, as our Amtrak was delayed and we didn't know the area, and came across Ruby's cafe on route. So very glad we stopped here instead. Chai lattes were perfectly made, and the bagel with butter and jam was yum! Service was faultless; the atmosphere was chilled and friendly - the man who bought our bagels was very hospitable and friendly (may have been the owner or manager). It seemed homely, with customers and staff interacting like old friends. We loved it. If we ever return to this state, we'd have no hesitation but to return here for a meal. Best wishes.
