A group of us went to the grand opening of Tokyo Central and decided to try this place. We all thought everything was pretty mid. Flavors were OK, but nothing special and we all felt it was overpriced. Our Korean friends didn’t like it at all, but everyone else thought it was just OK. We’re going to try some other places around Tokyo Central, but we probably won’t come back here.

Located on the Bay Street Plaza in Emeryville, on the second floor next to Barnes and Nobles. Saucy Asian is a Korean fusion restaurant. It’s a trendy place and is pretty busy all the way to closing time. We came in today after shopping at the new Tokyo Central across the street for a late dinner. We ordered at 7:58pm and did not receive our food until 8:26pm which was quite long wait for what we ordered. There is some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating.
As for food we ordered: - Saucy Asian Bowl - Saucy Asian Fries - Island Style Poke Bowl (combo: half tuna/half Salmon)
All the food were good, have no complaints, but have had better elsewhere. Overall, if we’re in the mood for their food, we would come back.

had a great lunch with my mom, the cashier knew the menu well, gave me a good recommendation, and helped my mom pick out what she wanted even tho she can't eat anything spicy, then once we say down the food came out really fast, only thing that wasn't top notch was when we were eating the music was loud but not overwhelming

I usually frequent this establishment during lunch time. But this time I went around 645pm after working a very stressful shift. There was a customer there who had never been before and I spoke highly of their food after I placed my order. I ordered a saucy Asian burrito with bulgogi beef. When I got the order my food was COLD not even lukewarm But COLD! And the beef tasted like regular beef so I was up charged for nothing. I threw away the whole burrito in fear I would get possible food poisoning. I’m very disappointed

I come here for lunch when I can. The person that takes my orders Ubaldo hopefully I spelled his name right. But he is super nice and friendly, brings great energy and service every time I come in. The kitchen crew always make my food soo good and take care of my food request. My recommendations are the sausy Asian fries, poki bowl and the cheese steak sandwich. You can pick the option of what protein you would like as well.

Great customer service. I’m always laughing when I leave out. The food is tasty. Ubaldo is a great cashier, social skills on point. Definitely recommend going for a quick grab and go. Very affordable as well.

I have no idea how many times I've ordered from here since they opened. It's SO GOOD. I love the Saucy Asian bowl with beef bulgogi added. They also have some alcohol options. Highly recommend the Soju Slushy too 🤤 and if you love spice, absolutely get the Ddeokbokki 🤌🏻
