I'd give it zero stars if I could. Service was absolutely terrible unprofessional and unkind! Skip this place save your money. The food was maybe two stars.

Such a great spot. Been here a few times and the owner is super friendly, clearly cares about every detail. Food is amazing, everything I’ve had has been awesome. It’s the kind of place I really hope sticks around, they deserve it. Highly recommended.

Placed an online order for pick up. Plenty of options to choose from but I settled on the spicy poke bowl with salmon and tuna. So good!! Highly recommend this spot. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Quick and friendly service. Would come back again

Such a nice experience. The restaurant is on the second floor of the Bay Street shopping center. It has been awhile since I have been there and they have created a fantastic outdoor space with tons of seating and fire pits. The Saucy Asian is bright and clean with a couple of tables inside, bar seating to one side, and tons of seating under a covered space outside. The customer service is very friendly and welcoming. I loved the options on the menu and could not resist the Cali Burrito because it has crispy fries in it - who thinks these delicious things up? They also have a couple beers on tap. The food came out fast, was fresh and hot, water and napkins are self-serve and you pick up your food at the front. Even though it is fast casual they still check on you to make sure everything is good. For those that are hungry the portions are generous, I took half my burrito home and can't wait to enjoy the rest...on another day...when I am not so full. Also, see my picture? That was my spouse's bowl - it looks like a picture from a magazine.

Great Korean quick-service food with a Mexican food slant! The spicy pork burrito and beer bulgogi Cali burrito were both huge and packed with tasty fresh ingredients. The chips and salsa they came with were also quite good. The spicy wings were quite spicy with a decent flavor and the potstickers were pretty good (and the portion was large). Definitely wanna try more items on the pretty big menu!

Saucy Asian is such great new addition to Bay Street Emeryville. After a trip to IKEA we decided to check out all of the new shops and restaurant spots that have been recently added. If you haven't been in a while, highly recommend! Saucy Asian specifically is located right in between the movie theater and Barnes & Noble. The restaurant (also has an SF location) exudes vibrance, good eats, and good vibes. With indoor/outdoor seating, we chose to sit outdoors and watch shoppers/movie goers alike. Reminiscent of Seoul, South Korea, the owner's vision is to transport you there for a meal and experience. The menu is so fun with bowls, tacos, burritos, pokè, sides & specials, and fun sips (ice pop drinks, beers from Dokkaebier, and more). We ordered the Cali burrito with spicy chicken, the Saucy Asian burrito with bulgogi beef, and the Kimchi fried rice. With a hashtag #getsauced, we def did and would come back for it! The Saucy Asian burrito comes with gochujang aioli, the Cali comes with a a garlic sauce, and the Kimchi fried rice comes with a kimchi aioli..all equally satisfying and saucyyyy. Would love to return and try the Seoul Cheesesteak, Saucy Asian fries, and Kimchi Quesadilla. Great value for food that's innovative, fresh, and flavorful. As a new restaurant, many kudos & wishing nothing but the best! Can't wait for round 2!

Not a bad place for a quick bite, staff are friendly and food is decent. Fusion food and a unique stance on Korean.

This place is an order and sit or leave place, but the employee who took my order was kind and gave me good advice on what to get. I love the atmosphere of this place and the food was awesome. I got the saucy asian bowl with bulgogi. My only problem was that the bowl was kinda tall so it took a minute to get to the rice at the bottom because I got a mixed greens and rice base, but that doesn't mean I am not coming back. The blend of flavors was just amazing. This will definitely be my new staple when I'm in Emeryville.

Saucy Asian is delightful! The goto dish here is the "Saucy Asian Bowl. Its rice or mixed greens base, japchae noodles, fresh slaw, kimchi, greens, carrots, fried shallots, and gochujang aioli. At $14.99 its not cheap, but the portion is decent and I always walk away feeling satiated. PRO-TIP: You can add a poached egg to any bowl for an additional $1.50. Just ask! All bowls can be "topped". You choose from: spicy pork, soy sauce chicken, spicy chicken, bulgogi beef (an extra $1), garlic shrimp (an extra $2), pan fried tofu, or shiitake mushrooms. The *PORK* is my goto. Its fantastic. Note for Vegans: If you (1) order the pan fried tofu or shiitake mushrooms, (2) request that they remove the kimchi, (3) and change the sauce to "mama sauce", your bowl will be completely vegan. Sounds complicated, but they do it ALL the time. So they know how to make it true vegan.

Pro-tip: Order to-go and sit near the fireplace.

Asian comfort food, fast food style. There is limited seating inside but more tables outside. I was debating between the kimchi fried rice or the kimchi quesadilla - the guy at the register recommended the latter so I decided to go with that. The food is so umami and is topped with a creamy, savory sauce. It was good, but quite rich and heavy. I would probably go with the fried rice or a bowl next time.

This is a cute new spot between the movie theater and Barnes and Noble. I got the spicy chicken saucy asian bowl, and it was really good, and the spicy chicken wasn't that spicy at all. The host/cashier was very nice and gave us recommendations. The food was all as expected. If you're looking for a quick and easy asian fusion restaurant this is a great choice!

Good if you like “fusion food”in a casual spot. Not your spot if you just want a good old fashioned bibimbap without bells and whistles.

I don't think there is a bad item on their menu. Saucy Asian bowl hands down is amazing. They stay busy so be ready for a small wait, but it's more than worth it
