Yummy food and drinks!
Good spicy ramen walking distance from hotels when you’re travel. The Whole market is a pretty cool concept.
Great little place to try out Sake. Very knowledgeable staff and they know their stuff. I took a sake flight for me and my friend and she suggested the 3 sake that I have posted here. The Chikurin, Tokubetsu and Maboroshi. The Maboroshi was more sweet and fruity while the Tokubetsu felt more boozy. I liked the Chikurin best followed by Tokubetsu. Definitely going back.
Good beer and good seating next to the Ramen
We had a great time tasting different kind of sakés, with interesting explanations.Owner is very dedicated and quick to answer private messages. She made sure there would be someone knowledgeable about sakés on the day we came. They have so many different sakés, but also Japanese whiskeys and gins to taste, we'll have to go back!
I simply enjoyed their dishes. I always get good customer service there. The place is well kept and the staff members are always friendly. Will come back again.
The offerings (draft beer & sake) at the Period Table are top notch. The draft beers are all "craft," i.e. you won't see any Budweiser or other overly mainstream stuff there. They are a little pricier than the new bar that just opened up, but I think the slight premium is worth it.I recently had a sake/cheese pairing and it was quite good. I especially liked one paired with a blue cheese. I don't recall what it was, but it definitely stood out and, dare I say, lands in my top 10 pairings. I'd go back just for that, alone.
What beautifully curated menu of beer, whiskey, and sake, Along with extremely good ramen and other food.
Horrible service. Waitress actually looked at me and said she would smile if she feels like it. No customers and I felt like she had to serve me
Good drinks!

Good stop in a large food court. Wine, sake, beer and Japanese whiskey. Food available from nearby stalls.
Fantastic curated sake selection and excellent tasting events. The owners are very nice and it's obvious they absolutely love what they do.
The soymilk ramen without the egg was a really good vegan dish.
Great little bar in the Public Market, offer a variety of drinks for reasonable prices. seating inside the bar is limited but it opens to all of the market.
Hands down, the best bartenders and drinks in Emeryville! I've never had a bad experience and there's always a great vibe.
