I ordered their sample pack and got an email next day stating they were out of one of my choices and it was very simple to choose a replacement. The shipment was VERY QUICK and the coffee tastes great :) highly recommended

I am so glad I discovered Ubuntu because their Espresso Blend is very similar and probably better than Hayes Valley from Blue Bottle.It took me a long time to try it because frankly the print design on the bags doesn't really draw one... especially the espresso blend which looks like it was done in word art but don't judge a bean by its cover. (Hint hint Ubuntu - update your design)

We came across this place after skipping the wait for the Cafe down the block and WOW! This coffee is everything I'm looking for, zero cream or sugar needed for this cup. Not to mention how nice and friendly the staff was. Highly recommend! Great coffee at a good price!

The Ubuntu Coffee Cooperative was a destination to try a new coffee brew. sadly, it was not to be. got here at 1:57 to discover them closed. no hours posted on door. website posts a 5 o' clock closing for thursdays. no coffee brewing apparatus seen within. obviously posted info on Yelp is wrong. no blame. just stating facts. webpage updated: saturday hours of 10-2. owner sent me a note with details. grateful for the outreach. will drop by when i can. 3.5 stars

I found this place about 4 months ago. It is the only place I buy my coffee beans now from. I make sure I never run out of beans. I specifically like knowing they are a coop and everything is fair trade. All the employees or owners who work there are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There is such a tremendous selection of growers. Their coffee is like craftsman micro beer or single source varietal wine. I try and experiment something new every time I go.
