The Emeryville location understaffed, long wait times, costs a lot for soup.We ordered and didn’t get our ramen for 1hr when the place was empty. They blamed the POS system and no comps for waiting hungry.Ramen came out warm and nice presentation but lacked seasoning and the brother needed to cook longer, kinda bland.Charged me for a side of hot sauce after waiting all that time it took another 20 mins before I could eat the ramen when the sauce arrived.I won’t be going back for $73 for a couple small apps and a long wait for not a good main.

I haven't had ramen that was tasteless and for my daughter to tell me her ramen broth tasted like water is embarrassing. The location is nice the price for the ramen is absurd. I wouldn't recommend this place. I recommend Saucy Asian which is across from this place..

Their vegan broth had no flavor and was just too salty. They did not replace the dish and asked me if they could add something. I asked for the original broth. But they still charged $3.50 for the broth, after they failed to provide edible food.Miso soup ramen was too salty as well. They do not seem to know how to cook vegan dishes tastefully.$3.50 for gluten free noodles costs a lot higher than other restaurants ($1-2).Plastic spoons in hot broth create environmental hormones that attack reproductive organs and make us sick. They listed tip from 18%, even though it does not require more service than usual (e.g., BBQ places to give you more work/service).Servers were attentive. But the too salty food without flavors, poor service of replacing the not edible dish, and charging too much do not make me want to go back.Vegetarian options: 2 vegan options, but no flavors, and just too salty.Dietary restrictions: gluten free noodles tasted like cheap Chinese ones, yet they charged $3.50 for it.

my friends tried four different types of ramen and all the complaints were the same: no flavor to the watery broth. toppings also had zero flavor. bamboo shoots tasted like chemicals. my noodles were overcooked. portions were big but if it doesn’t taste good, what’s the point? chicken karaage was good and service was friendly.

Really great Ramen. Portion more than enough for 2 meals. Tasty broth, tasty pork belly. Tasty chicken. Get it a little spicy and you won't be

Came here on a rainy Bay Area day very hungry. I’m not a ramen snob and found vegetarian ramen to be good. Service was on point, very efficient. Not the best decor, but I was there to eat.

First time going to this restaurant today. I would have to say the food was pretty good. I would recommend this place.

Service was nice.Missing ingredients + overall bland ramen left my ramen craving unsatisfied.

The service is amazing. The ambiance is also very cute. The restaurant has a very nice lay out. We went here as a quick meal after walking around the mall. We just saw it and decided to try it out. The ramen is probably the worst ramen I have ever had. There is an overall lack of flavor. It's very reminiscent of Top Ramen. Our party of 4 got Shoyu and Shio ramen and both broths were extremely bland compared to other restaurants. The menu is also not the updated price. This is a restaurant for if you don't expect anything and just want to eat. But if you are expecting good food, I wouldn't try this place. And if you go here, get an itemized receipt.

This place was a disappointment. The ramen was tasty but it was served lukewarm and the noodles were gummy and overcooked. Probably the worst ramen I've ever had in a restaurant that claims to specialize in it.Restaurant interior was pretty plain, and with the radio on and nothing on the walls, it was pretty loud; you'd need to raise your voice to carry on a conversation at the table. The service was pretty perfunctory. They never checked on us, but I think that is perhaps to be expected from a "mall" restaurant.Sadly, I can't recommend this place.

I normally never write reviews but I finally felt compelled to write one at last after having the worst ramen of my life ever at this establishment. First off, the good. The service. We were seated quickly, the wait for the ramen was reasonable, service was professional. But that was about it. Now on to the bad. We ordered the shio ramen and shoyu ramen. I base my review for the ramen on three factors: 1) the toppings, 2) the soup, and 3) the noodles. The toppings were the only decent part of both ramens, with the typical bamboo shoots, wood ear, scallions, char siu, and an egg. Serving size was decent as well. The soup and noodles were absolutely abysmal. The shio soup was light as you would expect, but light in the sense that there was almost no flavor. Similarly, the shoyu ramen had a hint of soy sauce to it but was mostly tasteless. The most important part of a ramen is definitely the soup and it is hard to make a good ramen without a flavorful broth. Still, I had hope maybe the noodles would save the day. The worst part of the ramen I believe though were the noodles. They were severely, and I mean SEVERELY, overcooked until there was no chewiness to it, and eating it made a disgusting, soft, mushy mess in your mouth. For a restaurant that has ramen in its name, you would think ramen would be the star of the show. As fans of ramen, both my friend and I were very disappointed this was not the case. We also ordered the chicken kaarage, which we believe to be the "best" part of our meal. Not because it was good but because it was the only part of our meal that at least had a little bit of taste to it if you dipped it in the mayo sauce (but still not much. You would think frying chicken adds flavor to it but I guess not). Somehow the ramen here managed to be worse than packaged/instant ramen. Be prepared to be transported to a world in which spices weren't invented yet upon your first bite. If you can't handle bland food, I do not recommend this restaurant. Also beware items are quite pricey. Overall rating: 2/10, 2 from the chicken kaarage and service.

I got very sick from eating the ramen here. I was the last person to order before closing, not sure if that had an effect but had symptoms of food

Hands-down, the best Ramen I’ve ever had in the Bay Area! Excellent customer service everyone was attentive, and very good listeners. Energy and the vibe 10 out of 10! I am Asian and I’m not into that fatty high cholesterol, Ramen with lots of MSG just “for taste”. Plenty of options for appetizers and my kids loved them all! Would always come back here for more.
