Was the best place for pie, even better than Julian CA pie places. So sad they are closed!

If you look up this place on Google maps the photos are of the old location which is gone.. new location is more like a bakery setting not much room to sit and no service. Pies are ok, to be fair the selection was lite and it was before the holiday. Seems to be a local favorite but I didn’t find it to be exceptional, just ok.

The best pies. Super nice staff. The strawberry rhubarb and apple pie are amazing and I don’t even like fruit pies!

The fruit pies are the best! Quite expensive but amazing. I had the quiche tonight and was very disappointed. It was dry, had very little filling, and was very expensive. I will stick to their fruit pies in the future.

OMGoodness! The pies I got here where the best I have honestly ever had. Perfect amount of fruit an amazingly thick and crispy crust. I am definitely going here again. Everyone must try it at least once! And I don't want to forget the girls that were working there were super kind, great customer service!

Good pies. Pretty expensive though but otherwise the pecan pie is good and the chicken pot pie. Just note: the location is NOT at the nursery anymore. Just like another reviewer said, I was expecting to go to the nursery where the saloon was and ended up elsewhere wondering what happened with my gps directions. So if you’re going based off the photos, just know it’s not the same location.

Grateful to see them open on Christmas Eve but I bought a frozen pumpkin pie (forgot to pre-order) and paid FULL PRICE OF $35.00. …for frozen. I do believe that even Vons would’ve been better. Homemade is always best. Which is why I paid $35. Never again. Photo is from slices if the pie I bought day before yesterday. Looks 2 weeks old and tastes 2 weeks old

They used to be located at the corner of Quail Gardens and Encinitas Blvd. their pie’s are very delicious and is could be ordered as prebaked or over ready. Surely recommend the pie’s.

Based on the photos I saw on Google Maps, I was expecting to find a saloon themed restaurant. I was confused when navigation directed me instead to a bakery in a strip mall that is definitely not Western themed, and not the place from the photos.As we headed in, we spotted a window sign for Betty's Pie Whole Saloon, but the signage and place is Elizabethan Desserts & the 50's Cafe.The staff were friendly. I shared a delicious mini strawberry and rhubarb pie.

Pies are ok. But $ 35 for one nine inch Betty pie is way over priced. I only went here to satisfy a family dinner request.

Simply incredible cookies, cupcakes and pies. The decorated sugar cookies are a showstopper and taste as good as they look. One of the best bakeries in San Diego. I schlep up here for special occasions and it's worth it!

normally my experience with them at a different location was better. I don’t know if my pie is supposed to be cold but it was, and it did not taste good. :( there was literally a hair baked into my pie. 9$ for a pie the size of a cookie?? No thanks.

The BEST pies! This is the only bakery we go to. Worth every penny! Our favorite is strawberry rhubarb: perfect blend of sweet and tart with buttery, flaky crust. The cookie dough pie is chocolatey, gooey good! Weve tried nearly all pies: sweet and savory. This year has been made better with extra special desserts.

Best fresh pies ever, and can't wait to see the empanadas back in the menu ??

Love this spot for my sweet tooth cravings! I got cupcakes and a pecan bar, and I don't even like pecans! So delicious!
