Nothing Thai about the staff or the atmosphere but still a great place to have good food and hang with the locals. I prefer Thai food in Asia which is just… very different.
Not the greatest Thai place in the area, find somewhere better to eat
I will be coming back just for the pad thai alone. Great service, great atmosphere.
Food was great! Staff was very accommodating for our parties needs and size. Loved the fact that the meats were organic. Definitely a change from Thai options that we have back home. Also we loved the location! Wish we knew they had parking out back. Definitely a place we will go back to the next time we are in town!
Called to pick up a late dinner. The woman on the phone sounded like we were on speaker with the entire restaurant. She told us it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. We arrived 25 minutes later. She had not put our food in. Did not give a clear indication why or an apology. She then told us it would be ready in 10 minutes. Our food was finished in 20 minutes. And things just got worse when we opened the to go bag.
For a $60 meal this entree was $20 and it came with 4 tiny pieces of beef? If anyone over the age of 3 was served this dish at a table inside it would be laughable. Beyond me how this happens. Beef was extremely mid too.
I really like this place. The flavours are great (authentic) and the portion size excellent. When I say portion size is great - I am Australian so don’t like the normal American portions that are huge and gross. Birdseye focused on QUALITY not quantity. This is great and keeps me coming back for lunch regularly. Yum’
I was visiting from Switzerland and we ordered food to take away.
As we got home, we realized that we recieved the wrong Food.
Instead of green papaya salad, we got a cucumber salad.
We called to complained but there was no understanding or no apology for that.
While we were eating, one one is had a hair on the food.
That was disgusting.
Never ever again.
Amazing dinner at Birdseye Kitchen. We especially loved the Panang Curry, Summer rolls, Red Curry & the Pad Thai. So flavorful! Highly recommend.

Never again. We ordered takeout via Toast Local, and ordered some extras such as extra curry sauce and vegetables. Dinner for two including the Calamari appetizer, red curry salmon and green curry duck was well over $100! Thai food for two?? After picking it up, there is NO WAY there was any extra curry sauce or veggies for either main course. We both ordered a 5 out of 10 spice level, and honestly neither dish had any heat level at all. Also, the takeout containers were just the flimsy recycled paper containers, which by the time you get home are leaking. Not what I'd expect for spending this much money! Had I opened the containers on-site, I would have complained, but I was double parked on Coast Hwy since there's little to no parking. Thus, didn't notice anything till I got home. > $100 for bland curry, leaking container, and no extras as ordered.
In contrast, the next night I ordered Thai from Koon Thai in Kearny Mesa. Amazing red curry salmon, nice tight & leak-proof containers, plenty of sauce, nice little spice kick, and with appetizer and tip was $28.

Food and service address great. Takeout is too slow on weekends because they are full with restaurant diners. Obviously, the large crowds tell the whole story. Less crowded if you go super early.

Beautiful and cozy. Food was delicious. We ordered the green curry. It was a perfect balance between basil and coconut in a rich creamy sauce. Stir fried noodles also delicious. Will definitely come back.

Consistently good food and service. One of our favorite for Thai and Lao food.

We enjoyed lunch today. The attention to detail and the freshness and preparation was excellent. We had the garlic chicken and green curry with vegetables. We will return!

I appreciated the fact that there were gluten-free and dairy-free options however the menu was a traditional Thai food menu so it really didn't stand out

Quick service. Our food was a tad bit oversalted. Otherwise a great place for an evening meal.
