This place used to be consistently PACKED and a vibe. Lots of local surfers and young adults worked here and that made the atmosphere and the service GREAT. Music was hip, lots of socializing, super fast service, etc. Something drastically changed in the last year, including their menu and prices (went up). Nobody even speaks English let alone has a positive attitude that adds to the Encinitas culture/nobody they hired are local or qualified. Paid $30 for a personal pizza that wasn’t even cooked throughly and missing ingredients and ICE cold. Just another restaurant ruined and down the drain in our beautiful city.

Blaze Pizza has a consistency problem. Some sites are 5-star, some are 1-star. This location has particularly bad service and cook quality. If this is a franchise location, it's really hurting the brand, and should be closed.

My first and last time coming to this place when I walked in I had to wait about 10 min for someone to come and make my pizza which at the time there was no one at the place besides one person that was already there. The staff did not look very welcoming and the dining area was a mess. Food all over the table and the floor was dirty. The staff where all basically just standing around doing nothing. They where not busy so the least they could of done was clean the place.

We met Nick out surfing and asked him about the best pizzas in the area. He let us know he worked at Blaze and that their service and pizza are in incredible. We came in and ordered several great pizzas that employee Nick fired up for us. Thanks again to employee Nick and to all the great employees at Blaze!

Parking: It's in a shopping center, so it shares a lot with several stores. My experience has been that it's always easy to find parking.

Nico was the man excellent service and pizza was delicious!
I've been to this location several times and it used to be a lot better. It just seems the staff isn't trained at all and have no supervision. Even in off peak times they are so slow, the teenage staff move at a snails pace, and seem to be oblivious on how to be efficient with their time and making the process flow. It's unfortunate because the pizza is good for the price but it's brutal to wait through them making it. I can't see myself coming back anytime soon.

We like the food at blaze, but this particular site does NOT read the instructions on online orders. The last 4 times we have ordered here they have failed to read the comments asking for extra spinach. I asked them if there was a better way to get extra of a topping when ordering online and they shrugged and said, leave note. That is what we have been doing but you never read them!

Our pizza hardly had any sauce on it. We ordered via DoorDash to be sent to our hotel room. We have small kids (one with special needs) and can’t eat out at restaurants. So we have to eat “in” while on this vacation. I also ordered a pizza with sauce, but no cheese. As cheese can be a choking hazard for a small little one and my special needs son. It arrived with cheese and almost no sauce like our other pizza. I took the cheese off and kids still liked it. So that’s a plus. But please please don’t hold out on the sauce!

The lady immediately had a frown, was aggressive and unfriendly. She didn’t care about her job or the customers and gave a bad name to Hispanic culture and people. This saddens me. I asked for light salt, she drenched it with so much salt that I couldn’t taste the rest of the ingredients. I asked for mushrooms and chicken and omg there was only 4 pieces of chicken in all of my pizza and she scraped the last crumbs of the mushroom. The whole time she was grumpy and kept on speaking to colleagues and on her phone. I feel bad for the owner of this chain. She really is making the business look bad.
Dietary restrictions: Nice thing is that they have gluten free options which is a plus.
