I went to the Encinitas Chic Filet this afternoon around 2:30 pm. The gentleman that took my order was gracious and kind. My order was delivered to my table quickly and also with a smile and kindness from the girl that delivered it. Sitting in front of me was a woman wearing pink and she was with a woman who only spoke Spanish. They were laughing and getting along so well it was a pleasure to sit behind them and watch, I finished my meal and the kind gentleman who took my order came by right away and asked if I had finished my meal and when I said yes he took my tray and trash away. I continued to sit there because I was so enthralled watching the kind, unpretentious women at the table in front of me. Occasionally she would ask one of the employees who would walk by and spoke Spanish if they could translate for her. She had them translate that her son was getting married and asked the lady who spoke Spanish how here mother was doing? The translation I overheard was so sweet loving and truly real. This lady in pink cared deeply about the people here. I thought to myself, did she own the franchise? Did she own the company? Did she start Chic Filet with her family? So many questions about who was this magnificent role model of a caring and loving woman. There were several employees starting or leaving their shifts. They all came to say hello and she hugged each and everyone. Continually having a genuine and loving grace about her. She turned back looking behind me several times and I witnessed the love in her eyes. As I left I wanted to acknowledge her being and genuine kindness towards so many folks in that restaurant. Watching someone like this truly makes you want to have these types of interactions and be a better kinder person in a world like ours. I thought to myself what if I would have been looking at my phone as I sat there eating my meal I would have missed this whole thing (by the way I rarely look at my phone in public). I like to watch people. I went outside and asked one of the employees if the lady in pink was the owner? She didn't understand English and just smiled and nodded at me. I left and got into my car and stated to drive away. The lady in pink walked out with a gentleman that worked there and the lady who only spoke Spanish. I had overhead that she had a Coach purse to give to her and what would be her favorite color. I wanted to stop and get out of the car and let her know my feelings of what I had encountered while watching her interactions but felt that that would be dumb and I might seem like a weirdo. I went to my hair appointment and so regretted not letting the woman in pink know how great I thought she was and how great I thought all of the employees at this particular Chic Filet were. It's better then many 5 Start restaurants. Anyway maybe this review will make it over to the beautiful human in pink. And I hope the employees there know what a difference they make not just in the delicious food but in the way they make people feel. Too many people post reviews that are negative. I wanted to post the truly amazing ones.. Kindness matters. With Love Tanja Joslin

The prices are INSANE! Buffalo wild wings is cheaper, so many other actual restaurants are cheaper. I can't believe they get away with charging $17 for a tiny combo meal that you don't even get full on. You get better quality and more bang for your buck going elsewhere.

Went here after work to grab some breakfast at around 7am and was the only person in the drive thru but my food still took 15 minutes customer service was not chic fil a standard at all. I also asked for creamer and sugar and they didn’t put any in my bag I ended having to go inside and they didn’t even apologize for forgetting. Seemed extremely unorganized. Male employee who looked like shift lead was just wondering around. Never had an experience like this at chic fil a before.

Great experience here. The staff was pleasant and helpful immediately. Our food came quickly and we were able to order without a line inside the store. The drive thru seemed busy but was moving without delay. I am not a chicken sandwich fan but was happy with the fries and drinks. Joseph was very helpful even as a trainee. Great job. I will be back.

Today was a good lesson in being kind and good things will happen. Felt a little peckish and decided why not Chick Fil A? My vehicle had no chance of making it through the drive through, though unscathed, so I walked inside. Friendly greeting from the gentleman at the counter as the chain is well known for. I'm not sure why, but I was given a free breakfast chicken sandwich with my meal, and it really made my day. Such a small gesture made a rather mundane day into something special. Also wanted to point out how immaculately clean this location in particular was. I don't usually go inside places with a drive-through, but I sure am happy I did today. Keep on being awesome Chick Fil A:) It does not go unnoticed

Really? Now Charging for Bags!!

This will be my last time at Chik-fil-A.
Their philosophy reminds of Disneyland.
Nickel and dime customers for everything while simultaneously raising prices.
I became unnerved when I did not want to pay for a bag. I don't care if the bag is 10 cents I did not want to pay. However, it's no choice!
Personally I don't like to be monetarily bullied.
I don't care if it's 10 cents, a dollar or whatever.
The prices are equitable to a sit-down dinner at a cafe, with more healthy food and more variety of choices.

Chik-fil-A, I won't ghost you but this relationship is a done da da.

My family and I have been coming to this location for about 3 years now, and it is by far my favorite location! The staff is always extremely friendly, super helpful, the atmosphere is always clean!! They are one of the only locations I’ve been too that place the small purell wipes on their high chairs! (Talk about putting a parents mind at ease).
Our most recent visit was 1/9/2025 and regardless of how busy they were, the employees had a smile on their face and very pleasant. Two employees that deserve a shoutout are Javier and Miyuki. Very sweet souls! You can tell they truly enjoy their jobs, and they are extremely good at it!
