This place has the best chicken in town. Not only that, all the sides are cooked in house, veggies, mashed potatoes, rice, Mac and cheese ect, all freshly made daily. The chicken soup is also made daily, made with the bones from the rotisserie chicken, carrots and spinach. Top notch. Try any of the sauces, also made in house. Prices for a healthy lunch here is hard to beat. The girls at the front are always friendly and professional.

When they are good they are really good. When they are not it’s terrible. I’ve been eating here since the mid 80’s as a kid and it’s been my favorite place all time. In the last couple of years the quality has gone downhill in terms of consistency. If it is a good day and the right employee is there then the order will be correct and the food great. If not it’s terrible and the order incorrect.
This has been going on for a couple of years now and I hoped it would be temporary based on a change of ownership getting up to speed but it continues and the value is no longer there.
In the photo is a #2 half chicken combo. Not even a quarter chicken and a scoop of rice. Chicken was extremely dry.

Such friendly and attentive service! The food was outstanding, with each dish prepared to perfection and full of rich, satisfying flavors. A particular highlight for me was the cornbread — truly one of the best I’ve ever had.

Oh my this place is a must visit! Rice had so much flavor and the chicken is moist and cooked perfectly. Even heated up later in the day was still perfection. And don’t get me started on the corn bread, absolutely perfection. If you don’t live near Chicks, make the drive!

Food is always hot and fresh. Their chicken is juicy and tender. I love their chicken soup, cornbread and how everything is served in a timely manner and great customer service with a smile. The restaurant is always clean and well kept. A tad bit outdated, but not an issue for me. My dog LOVES their chicken too! Safe for him.
