The lady with the long dark curly hair has a terrible spirit, a bad attitude and because she ran out of regular coffee, refuses to sell the Americano coffee. Just this is a terrible coffee shop. They never have anything it’s not organized very well it’s not worth your money.

This was an old favorite, and previously had very good coffee and baked goods. Twice in a row my cortado used drip coffee rather than an espresso shot, and the last time I went my croissant was very hard and crunchy. They have good sandwiches still.

The delicious breads and the very good service but you look at where they are making the breads and the staff without a protective hat without gloves ? or anything ?? much less well combed to prevent the HAIRS FROM FALLING INTO THE FLOUR DISGUSTING ? I'M NOT GOING AGAIN
Overpriced and mediocre at best. Amateur coffee and grocery store quality pastries at gourmet prices.
Cutest bakery with exquisite baked goods and lovely service.
Unfortunately the reviews I see listed here are from the pre-pandemic times. The management has changed since then. We used to faithful customers FOR YEARS...since it was opened by Tim and Heidi. Not any more - they have gone. There isn't much selection now and the bread for sandwiches runs out before noon. What kind of business model is that? I wish I understood the situation and could help. The restroom seems to be always closed and some of the help is just unpleasant. It's like we're annoying them - to ask for help. (Others are very nice and helpful in a tough work situation) We need Darshan to thrive and be part of the Encinitas culture.
Very white and sugar. Low quality and higher prices make this place unsustainable

Croissants for $6.25...no thanks.
Great place for coffee, pastries and much more!!!!
Seriously, the best Morning Bun I have ever had! So flavorful and crunchy on the outside! It is best if you go early because they are REALLY crunchy and they sell out pretty fast!
I'm not sure if I want to share this place because everything will be eaten by the time I get here. The coffee here is the smoothest out of every spot I've been to in town and the cappuccinos rival lofty's. Sit under the tree and enjoy!
Came here on an early Sunday morning, not too crowded. I ordered the almond croissant which was delicious. Customer service was a 10 out of 10 and I believe the cashiers name was Lilly. I would come here again, but it was a bit pricey.
