Firenze Trattoria

We have made a tradition of celebrating my birthday at Firenze's over the last few years, and it never disappoints. My wife had the Lasagna, her personal go to for this restaurant. I tried the CANNELLONI FIORENTINA, and it was to die for. We also started with the black mussels, which are served in a spicy red broth, and they were excellent as well. Shannon was our server, and she was attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant also comped me with a large piece of Tirmisu for dessert to celebrate my birthday, which was outstanding. We had a 6:30 reservation on a Sunday evening, and the restaurant was surprisingly busy and a little noisy when we first arrived, but many diners were just finishing up and by 7:00 the restaurant had significantly calmed down. I have the impression that this restaurant has a significant local customer base who are a bit on the older side, and have early dinners here. You might want to keep that in mind when making reservations. We brought our own wine, and there is a $30 corkage fee, but we also had a $20 discount coupon from one of the promotional post cards that all receive in the mail on a routine basis, so that took the sting out of the corkage fee. They do offer 1/2 off on bottles of wine on Mondays, if you prefer to sample their wine instead of bringing your own. We sat inside, as it as pretty chilly outside, but they do have a spacious outdoor patio dining area with heaters where we have eaten in the past, and they are very dog friendly out there. All in all, Firenze's is a wonderful dining experience, that never disappoints.

Our favorite Italian restaurant where everything is always enjoyed with great food and wonderful service. We highly recommend to experience. An abundance of parking too, so easy for us.

Excellent food and service. It is also nice to recognize the same employees there for many years. That makes it a very friendly atmosphere for all.

A very well run established business! We sat at the bar. Our bartender was knowledgeable and efficient. Food was fantastic!

You can never beat Firenze's for food, service and ambiance. Always a favorite and never disappoints us. Have been going there for about 15 years and always a special evening.

I love this place because of their delicious food, especially the lasagna. Clean, moderate noise, friendly staff. Try this place and you’ll fully agree with me.

Firenze has a lovely, romantic, Tuscan ambiance. Having a meal outside is terrific when the weather is good? But dining indoors, sitting near their beautiful hand painted mural, really sets the mood and makes any meal feel like special "dinner out". We'll be back!

This Italian restaurant is a gem. The food is superb and the atmosphere is whatever you choose for seating: inside at the bar, inside in the dining room, or outside next to the beautiful fountain. BTW, overhead heating is provided outdoors so it's a special setting for any seasonal weather variation! Also, the servers are outstanding!

On a Friday night taking my wife for dinner we did a walk in and the host wasn’t fond of us coming in to the restaurant and didn’t ask what seat we prefer since it wasn’t busy and the host she just placed us in the corner. The server was okay until she must’ve not heard that my wife wanted more Parmesan on her pasta. The end the food is good and only got a fell well by a busser girl.

All 4 of our dinners were delicious from pasta to chicken picata. The chicken picata was so yummy and came with pasta and broccoli! I highly recommend this dish!

If you're in or willing to come to Noth San Diego County, and like great Italian food in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, Firenze Trattoria in Rancho Santa Fe is your place. Try it, and you'll become a regular, like us..

They had gluten free raviolis and I was in heaven. Also, I had just had a knee replacement and they were able to put me at a table where I could put my leg up without being in the way. I appreciated the special service!

Great food! Big portions. Service was great. Lighting is a little dark and difficult to see the menu, but otherwise enjoyed our dinner.

The food is very good but a bit pricier than expected. The service was very slow at the bar during a shift change and a bit slow at the beginning of our dinner in the dining room. I was disappointed that there was no acknowledgment of our anniversay by our server in the dining room. What's the point in asking if we are celebrating a special occasion? Otherwise the food was good and the half off wine bottles was nice.

Great place, they've changed the menu and have made some adjustments to sizes etc. the food menu is still good, but they've really trimmed too much from the wine list
