All 4 of our dinners were delicious from pasta to chicken picata. The chicken picata was so yummy and came with pasta and broccoli! I highly recommend this dish!

If you're in or willing to come to Noth San Diego County, and like great Italian food in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, Firenze Trattoria in Rancho Santa Fe is your place. Try it, and you'll become a regular, like us..

They had gluten free raviolis and I was in heaven. Also, I had just had a knee replacement and they were able to put me at a table where I could put my leg up without being in the way. I appreciated the special service!

Great food! Big portions. Service was great. Lighting is a little dark and difficult to see the menu, but otherwise enjoyed our dinner.

The food is very good but a bit pricier than expected. The service was very slow at the bar during a shift change and a bit slow at the beginning of our dinner in the dining room. I was disappointed that there was no acknowledgment of our anniversay by our server in the dining room. What's the point in asking if we are celebrating a special occasion? Otherwise the food was good and the half off wine bottles was nice.

We ate in the patio with friends on a Sunday night. It was lovely weather and a pleasant environment. We had good service and everyone enjoyed their meal. A pleasant evening!

The food was tasty and reasonably priced, which I appreciated. However, the flour-dusted atmosphere wasn't really my thing, and the service was disappointing. If I come back, it will be for the food, nothing else.

Always a great dinner. Especially great on Tuesdays when you can bring your own wine & there's no corkage fee. Lots of free parking.

Good food, good quality, good portions. This used to be a special restaurant for me and my wife on special occasions, but it's gone down a step or two. Not sure I will be back after this experience because it isn't 5-star anymore. 4 issues: 1. Went for happy hour. Bartender doesn't give us a menu or tell us about happy hour specials. He just asks what he can get for us. I had to ask to see a happy hour menu. That did not have the feel of the upscale restaurant we chose for our anniversary. Would like to have felt more welcomed. 2. Ordered a vodka martini. It had lots of floating ice chips in it. Maybe that's normal in some places, but I've never had or seen that before. Definitely didn't make my drink feel smooth or special. 3. Ordered rack of lamb entree. Medium rare. It came out more medium well. 4. I told them on our reservation and in person that I'm gluten free (celiac) and let them know that we were celebrating our anniversary. For a free dessert, they brought out cannoli. Not gluten free. Just wondering why they missed that.

The food - when it came out 1 hour on the dot after our arrival (cringe) - was good as usual. But the service was painfully slow. The waiter - a tall bald man - seemed scattered, brought our drinks after our appetizer (and had to be reminded), and overall, we felt as if we were not taken care of well at all - with the exception of the busboy Jose, who was incredibly attentive as always. If the food wasn't good, we wouldn't come back. Please please do something about the exceptionally slow service & lack of attention to detail.

Our family of four for dinner. The food was excellent. We had pastas, seafood and chicken. Everyone was happy with their dishes. It was busy, so service was a bit slow, but no problem as we sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the atmosphere. Pricey, but worth it.

Delicious food! I used to come here a lot with a few clients. I highly recommend the lasagna but every dish is delicious. I came in with some clients and the manager was so sweet to give them their normal table so that my client could get in and out with his wheelchair, from the area. Highly recommend. Plus, their sausages are all homemade.

You will definitely take home leftovers so even if the dishes are a little more expensive, its still entirely worth it.

For years, Firenze has been my go-to favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food and service are consistently good and there are so many tempting things on the menu that despite the fact that I usually order my favorite thing (butternut squash ravioli), I still enjoy perusing the menu every time I go. It's not easy to successfully operate a restaurant so consistently good for as long as Firenze has been doing it, but somehow they've managed to do it. The patio seating is very nice and the inside seating is also very nice -- refined and quiet. It's great for special occasions or regular dining. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Good salad and pasta. Great wine! Quiet for good conversation.
