We had a great experience at Fish 101. The food was awesome, and it’s just a short walk to the beach with beautiful coastal views, which made the whole meal feel like an authentic San Diego experience.
We tried the oysters and fish tacos—both were fantastic—and everything else coming out of the kitchen looked amazing too. If you’re looking for a spot near the beach in Encinitas with delicious food and a relaxed local vibe, I’d highly recommend Fish 101.

The place was simi-packed I had to park in the econolodge parking lot which could have gotten me towed because I wasn't their customer. But the food atmosphere customer service was very good. I had 3 shrimp tacos and chips and guacamole

The Salmon was overcooked and salty. Not too bad but i expected a little more for that price. The employee threw empty bottles somewhere and tgat was pretty loud. I dont think I will come back.
