I went into Five Guys for their wonderful french fries! They are just delicious, hot and crispy with a soft center. They add the perfect amount of salt. So I ordered the fries. It was around 7pm. The gal rang up my order after waiting a minute or two to find out some other workers code so she could ring it up. I was in a hurry and wondered why I had to wait for this. But I said nothing. Then I paid. I kind of hate it how the cashier can see the tip amount beforw they work on your food order. I didn't think french fries beckoned a big tip. So she looked at it. And started working on the counter, doing something else. No one else was in the room. Me and her. No other customers. No other orders seemed to be going. Then she realized that I was standing at the high top table, facing her, watching her. So a few minutes after I ordered, she put the fries into the oil. I watched her do it. Then I watched her go and flip them a few times. I finally got my fries and left. But I did feel like there was a delay starting the fries and it was not a good feeling.

Charging $17. for a hot dog and fries and a drink is ridiculous. A family of four at a fast food joint paying $68. for lunch is just too much. Overhyped and overrated. Stay away.

Five Guys is always providing the best burgers and fries in town. The orders are accurate and piping hot when completed. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Classic Five Guys atmosphere topped off with the classic/modern music. If you're in the mood for a burger & fries, this is your one stop spot.

Ok Price shows what a good burger is these days. I was given a gift card to try it. The fry's are amazing peanut oil so they even fill you up. Fast food and I was full all night.
