The guy working there has no idea how much he changed our day. I just lost my husband and we are struggling financially. I was there with my daughter and we needed food but I was so worried about spending. He had no idea about this but said he gave us all of what we ordered for free. I can’t believe it. Good karma will come his way. He made me feel so good about this world that there are kind people out there.

Great bagels! Lots of variety. Go early if you have favorite flavors (savory & sweet) because they sometimes run out later in the day. I like to get the egg salad sandwich served open face (you pay a bit more for open face because you get extra egg salad) in a jalapeno or everything bagel.

I was headed up to North County and stopped by Garden State Bagels to give it a try….Wowzer! Best bagels in SD and as good as Jersey or NY bagel spots! Open face bagel and lox was on point! I’ll be stopping by hear more often! Owner is a great guy who knows his art!
